2nd page of G&T freezing IE8 UPDATE: It's an avatar problem

I'm using IE8 because of circumstances and whenever I try to load any page beyond the first of G&T it gets about 3/4 of the way down the page and then just hangs there until I hard shut the browse

    Looks like the thing causing this is DrxLecter's avatar. Whatever page his/her Thief thread is on hangs up. Sometimes it loads, sometimes it freezes everything.

    I remember there being an outcry right after the switch to Vanilla because we don't support externally hosted avatars.
