When creating a hunter, my only prerequisite is that he be a different race than me. In MHP3rd my hunter is asian, in MHFU my hunter is black, in Tri my hunter was sorta white, except his eyes had no irises, so he was kind of a vampire race as I saw it.

Huh, last time I tried to do it it linked to some wiki page, and I couldn't fill anything out on the list of people that already signed up. It seems to be working now, so I filled it out!

I’ve seen things you people wouldn't believe. Barioth on fire off the shoulder of the frozen tundra. I watched Agnaktor lasers glitter in the dark near the Loc Lac Gate. All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain.

5 hours left before I can finally get my copy, this is going to be the longest five hours of my life. With this whole charm table thing, is 10 the most well rounded one over all, or is it just the best general one for melee? I'm probably going to be switching between the bow and the switch axe on a whim, is there one that's a bit more jack of all trades?

I haven't actually seen that movie. Is there a character named Khanus in it, or does my name choice reflect some scene where the characters discuss the right way to name characters (since the movie's about writing a book, among other things)?

I went to the port thing, just tried the solo part. Did a ton of gathering quests to get that out of the way for a bit. Then went for the first and most easy hunt... just a Querapeco (spelling?). Sure ya... big dumb bird should be easy. Except a Rathian shows up a TON... you need a full stock of dung bombs to keep that bitch away. Sure I've done monsters WAY harder than just a Rathian... but on the very first fucking hunt? Was a bit startling. Watching the do-do bird get pelted by Rathian fireballs was fun though.
Also I love hammer, but its fucking balls terrible against Querapeco.

HDTV. It's just a tiny box in the left hand side. It's not unreadable, but it is very small considering how large the screen real estate is.
Also: Forgive me if I am sounding pompous here, but - are many people hooking their WiiU up to an SDTV?
