Torak was unable to come to aid of his turian comrade, as he was busy working with his combat VI on calculating the response of his lift field on his cannon's projectiles. Seeing the heavy desk slam into the poor mercenary and hearing the cautious voice of his VI informing him that the calculations were as close as they could get, he let loose with both biotics and pulse cannons.
The blue energy slammed into the ground at the Vorcha's feet and expanded as balls of superheated metals were flung towards his head.
Using the d10 from the doom pool for Combat VI, meaning it's added back to the doom pool as a d12 when I'm done.
Foolishly, the Vorcha seems determined to prove how tough he is, and instead of trying to dodge away from the blast, he tries to charge right through it, straight at his Elcor enemy.
It's not a very wise move.
The blast rocks him, and he's slammed against the far wall. But still, he persists. Growling and haking the cobwebs out of his head, he stands right back up, glaring daggers through Torak.

"Look, kid. You're tough. That's nice. You're horrifically outnumbered, and I don't really want to wash Vorcha blood off my armor. So stand down. Or be put down."
Metnea grinned "funny, all my friends tell my endurance is the Vorcha's number one problem," she joked as she stepped forwards. Blinking right into the Vorcha's face and swinging an upper cut. Firing her poisoned blades as the blow connected with the Vorcha's jaw. It was hardly a professional soldiers response, but Metnea had found that surprising people often worked more in her favour than doctrine did.
Blorg. Not only is that gonna hit, it's gonna step up to d12. He's almost done. Vorcha is the only one left to go in the round.
Metnea's uppercut rocks the Vorcha, forcing her opponent to stumble back. But it's not the fist that does the most damage, it's the poison. And as tough as this particular Vorcha was, even his peak physical conditioning isn't enough to stave the venom off. Metnea has seen her potent potion in action enough to know the telltale signs of it working it's magic, and even as the Vorcha angrily looks ready to lunge right at her, his body language betrays him.
"Turian rat! What have you done?!"
Even the dim Vorcha bruiser can tell something is wrong. He feels stiff, like his body doesn't want to do what he tells it to. All it does is frustrate him, his stress increasing as it gets worse and he sees all of his opponents still standing around him.
Then he reaches into a pouch on his belt, and pulls out some sort of syringe. Immediately, he jams it into his arm, growling as whatever fluid it contained flows into his veins. Then, with a blood-curdling scream, he charges at the first thing he sees: the big man in the room, the elcor, Torak.
"DIE! DIE DIE DIE!"
Solo d6, Violent Thug d8, Strength d12(boosted with Stimulant SFX), Combat d10, and he'll use his own d8 Emotional Stress so it'll step up after this)
His cannons already spinning down, Torak sees the Vorcha leap forward with exactly enough time to do the first thing that comes to mind: counter the charge with one of his own.
Blue energy whips around him, faster than ever before and he leaps towards the oncoming vorcha, all steel and mass and biotic energy.
Oh shit, I'm really sorry guys. I completely missed that Delmain had posted.
Torak gets a pp for his rolled one in return I take a new d6 doom die. He sends a pp to counter and end this fight.
Unlike the Vorcha, Torak had more than just brute strength in his stride. Aside from his impressive strength, the Elcor's biotic powers made him twice the weapon. And when the two clash, we find just who is the powerhouse here. In a flash of light, the Vorcha is sent sailing across the room, straight into the hard metal wall.
The Vorcha stumbles forward, now drooling and snarling. He glares at Torak and growls, then takes a step forward.
Then collapses to the ground, unconscious.
Okay, so that's that for these guys. @Delmain@jdarksun and @Albino Bunny time to do any talking you want to do, and decide how to handle the survivors.
We're coming up on the holidays and the game goes slow to begin with, so I figure I'll keep things light and we'll mostly go with rp stuff and then jump into more action/dice rolls in the new year.
Metnea paused to look at the vorcha "so, we leave him for now I'm guessing?" she asks before turning to Kralin.
"Now then, where were we?" she asks, bluntly lifting the man to his fit by his uniform. "I believe you were about to explain a few good reasons for me to not blow your brains out, I'll even count to ten," she says with a manic grin as she reached for the Batarian's pistol.
Content that her squad was a bit more menacing than herself, Kasumi kneels over the Vorcha and pulls out some restraints, keeping her ears open.
Kralin looks absolutely distraught. As Metnea holds him up and the trio of hardened warriors glare at him, he seems to be visibly shaking. His eyes dart around the room, and as he fully takes in the aftermath of the fight, his composure breaks down more and more.
"No...no..."
He stares at Metnea, and speaks loudly. But his voice cracks.
"You never should have come here! You have no idea what you've done! They're dead. Oh God, they're dead. It's over..."
Metnea paused for a second. After all she was rather used to people breaking with a gun pointed in their face. Especially after witnessing their friends get slaughtered.
The turian sighed, shoving him down onto the chair. Planting the pistol on his knee and leaning in eye to eye.
"You know, the humans have this delightful game they play with interrogations, they fiddle with guns settings so only one in six shots actually fires, very fun, watching someone go from confidence to panic and agony based on chance," she says before simply pulling the trigger. The shot ringing out across the room as the round tore through Kralin's knee.
"Regretfully no one ever taught me how to do it," she finishes "so I just have to be more inventive with where I shoot, Earp, please restrain the nice man, Torak, watch the door incase anyone decides to investigate the gunfire, we might be here some time," she promises before shifting the pistol next to Kralin's ear, deafening him with another shot as she demanded "tell me what's going on here Kralin!" in a shout to ensure he could hear.
"Heh," Earp chuckles. "Restrain him? He's in a room full of biotics, and now he has a bum leg." The krogan moved over to the chair, bending the arms of the chair up around the subject's wrists. "But this sounds fun."
The huge elcor turns towards the door, raising his cannons to point directly at it, should someone attempt to open the door.
Thinking of something, Torak lowers his voice and continues, "Secretive whisper. Kasumi, can you check and see if the door actually still opens? That grenade was rather close to it."
Okay @Delmain@Albino Bunny@jdarksun I'm back from vacation and starting to feel better, so I should be able to jump back into things.
Sorry I wasn't able to be more active over the holidays.
The pain is excruciating. Kralin cries out in agony, hunching over before he's forced back into the chair. The second shot nearly deafens him, and he cries out again, his eyes beginning to water.
"Oh God, oh God..."
Kasumi nods at Torak, and step over to the door. She reaches for the handle...and as soon as she touches it, CLANG, the door falls right off it's hinges and drops to the ground. The hallway on the other side is now a complete mess, the walls covered in scorch marks and what can only be described as "goop".
Kasumi shrugs.
"Well, that settles that."
Kralin looks scared. But surprisingly, he doesn't try to wrench away from Metnea's gun. He breathes in and out quickly, doing all he can to keep the pain in his leg from overwhelming him. He stutters out a response, an he sounds desperate.
"D-do what you want. You always have. I-I won't say a word. I c-can't tell you anything."
"Normally, this'd be the bit where I shoot you," she says calmly before glancing back to the rest of the squad and just discarding the pistol to the floor.
"But, I'd like to think re-building means a bit more for my conduct than bounty hunting ever did," she explains before standing up and producing a flask from god knows where on her suit. Taking a long gulp before looking to Kralin and offering it to him "for the pain," she says, still looking like she'd rather punch him in the face.

I'm just going to say that whoever goes first out of @Albino Bunny @Delmain or @jdarksun may start the round.
The blue energy slammed into the ground at the Vorcha's feet and expanded as balls of superheated metals were flung towards his head.
Team, Confined Space, Lift, Senses, Pulse Cannons, Combat VI, Combat: 2#1d10 2 8 5#1d8 3 7 1 6 3
There's a 1 there on a d8.
8 + 7 + 6 (1 PP) = 21 with a d10 effect for physical stress on the Vorcha
Buying Torak's 1, giving him back a pp and getting a new d6, while his SFX turns my d10 to a d12.
Solo d6, Violent Thug d8, Durability d10, Reflexes d8, Combat 2d8
Reaction: [1d6=5] [4d8=2, 8, 3, 7] [1d10=6]
Dropping a d6 to avoid losing too much. He takes d10
@Delmain your choice on who goes next!
Foolishly, the Vorcha seems determined to prove how tough he is, and instead of trying to dodge away from the blast, he tries to charge right through it, straight at his Elcor enemy.

Scene Distinctions: Office Furniture, Confined Space
Torak: 1pp
Earp: 1pp
Metnea: 1pp, d10 physical stress, d8 Emotional Stress
Kasumi: d10 Physical Stress
Vorcha Guard: d8 Emotional Stress, d10 Physical Stress
"Look, kid. You're tough. That's nice. You're horrifically outnumbered, and I don't really want to wash Vorcha blood off my armor. So stand down. Or be put down."
Intimidate the vorcha: 3#1d10 10 10 5 3#1d8 1 1 5
Rolled a 1 (+1 PP).
10+10+5(-1PP)=25 w/ d10 effect
PP: 1 (no net change)
Let's see now...
d8 to the DP for Earp's two ones.
Solo d6, Unwavering Loyalty d8, Durability d10, Strength d10, Menace d8, Committed d10
Reaction: [1d6=4] [2d8=8, 2] [3d10=7, 9, 3]
Dropping that d8 to hang on.
@jdarksun your choice on who goes between the Vorcha and Metnea.
The Vorcha grits his teeth and glares at Earp.
"ALWAYS outnumbered! That whole problem! But we endure. I endure! I am stronger!"
He raises his fists into the air defiantly, and looks ready to strike.
Scene Distinctions: Office Furniture, Confined Space
Torak: 1pp
Earp: 1pp
Metnea: 1pp, d10 physical stress, d8 Emotional Stress
Kasumi: d10 Physical Stress
Vorcha Guard: d8 Emotional Stress, d10 Physical Stress
So that's a 20 with a D10 effect die.
Solo d6, Violent Thug d8, Durability d10, Stamina d10, Combat d8, Metnea's Stress d10
Reaction: [1d6=4] [2d8=4, 2] [3d10=8, 3, 5]

Roid Rage: [1d6=2] [2d8=1, 7] [1d10=9] [1d12=5]
So that's a 16 with d12 effect aimed at Torak. @Delmain your reaction is next! Don't forget you can use one of his stress dice in your roll.

One 1 there, on a d8.
11 + 10 = 21 with d10 effect. I'll spend a PP to inflict physical stress.
