Anyone else looking forward to the day/night cycle as much as I am? That was one of my favorite features of Gold/Silver. Whatever happened to the Pokemon from G/S that never made it to a GBA game?

They all made it to the GBA games in one way or another, except for some event pokemon that might as well have not existed at all. Some had to be transfered from the gamecube spinoff games.

Tentacruel is a pretty good Pokemon. I wouldn't complain if I caught a shiny one.
Also, Rapidash has one of the coolest shinies in the game. Phantom Horse!!

Seriously in the game it takes ages before it is any useful, it's first attack that does noticeable damage is acid and it's first water attack arrives way too late, but it afterwards it is awesome.
It has gynormous special defense and it is really fast, got an interesting typing (not owned by grass and water covers the poison resistent stuff). It is actually my main water pokemon during the current Ruby game.

Well I can get you any non-legendary pokemon with Pokerus and a good nature and decent stats. I also have a spare Jirachi and Zapdos and probably others. Most legendaries I'm not willing to part with.

EVs are "effort values".
Every time you defeat a pokemon in battle, your pokemon gains an EV in a certain stat. At level 100, four EVs in a stat is +1 in that stat. You can get a total of 510 EVs with a max of 255 in each stat. By controlling what pokemon you fight, you can increase your stats a certain way. For example, if you want a fast pokemon, fight lots of zubats and zigzagoons.

edit: also, i was wondering what version you plan on getting. cuz i wanted this trade to be a friendly invite to switching pokemon with each other that you can only get in one of the versions. that sounds alright if we get different versions right? i am not looking for a handout, just a trading buddy...

One every 100 wild pokemons? Uh...no thanks. You will battle more than 10,000 wild pokemons in your main quest to Elite Four. Getting so many shiny pokemons in a normal playthrough kills all pride of catching one. Might as well have a 50% chance, and be like gender.
1/8192 is not very high, but I would complain more about the rarity loss than enjoy that I have more, if it was raised. It's fine as it is.

ok heres an idea then. how about one area in the whole game like that after you beat elite four where you can catch 50 different pokemon and every 1/100 was a shiny? the 50 pokemon wouldnt be exclusive to the area either. that seems fair doesnt it??

well that works out cuz i am getting diamond. same goes for me, ill get you pokemon if you need em. with an exception of the pokemon you can only get 1 of (unless i find a friendly hacker rofl) heh i am planning on getting 3 of each starter and beating ranger about 10 times for manaphy and the other dude. so ya, that'll be pretty cool.
