I didn't see that anyone had posted this yet. Play is underway, and the winner of this tournament takes on current world champion Viswanathan Anand. It's pretty cool that you can watch every move of every match. Enjoy!

I love the way this chess coverage works. Go Magnus!

    I believe I have these point totals right after 9 rounds (with 5 to go): Carlsen 6, Aronian 5 1/2, Kramnik 5, Gelfand 4 1/2, Grischuk 4 1/2, Svidler 4, Ivanchuk 3 1/2 and Redjabov 3.

Well, that was an interesting day today. Magnus said he played "absolutely disgraceful".

So, Carlsen and Kramnik both lose today. From what I've seen on Magnus' facebook page, he's moving on to the World Championships. I'm not sure how that works, but I like it.
