So after I posted about maybe being able to fight hacks (particularly the production tab hack) with GameHeart on Reddit, a lot of people were calling me a fucking idiot, that I had no idea what I was talking about, and that you could never use custom maps to affect the hacks.
Well, as it turns out GameHeart already breaks the the production tab hack without me even changing anything. Goddamn people.
Dunno about "well" in the sense of international sportsmanship... But the first game was entertaining as shit. I thought inc was toast like three times, it was back n forth as all hell. Good job on his part anyhoo.

It depends on what the hacks do. The point about some hacks acting as overlays vs. modifying in-game assets through memory injection is valid. AFAIK, both forms exist, so GameHeart (by virtue of being an arcade map) has the capability of stopping stuff like an always-on, in-game production tab. However, it can't possibly hope to stop other sorts of attacks, e.g., an in-game fog-of-war revealer.
@TwitchTV, @Youtube: master-level zerg ladder/customs, commentary, and random miscellany.

It can't literally prevent the fog of war hack but it can make it useless by preventing any unit or structure the player shouldn't see from rendering. Which is exactly how GameHeart already works to show player vision. People underestimate what can be done with the editor with some creative thinking.

Mmm, it depends on how the memory injection works for the hacks that do this. Regardless, some of the map hacks I'm aware of work as a pure overlay so there's no hope there.

"So if you trade EVERY SINGLE STALKER for some tanks, it's not so bad, right? If you trade every stalker for every tank, then..."
"Then your opponent still has units and you don't."
Hooray for Axslav!
I made a game! Hotline Maui. Requires mouse and keyboard.
Is there anyone who might be interested in helping me manage all of the logos from both teams, leagues and sponsors for GameHeart?
You would need to have some familiarity with photoshop, and the map editor. It wouldn't be immediate because I need to redesign the logo system so whoever is working on it can do it totally independent of the rest of the overlay.
Maybe send me a PM or email if you are interested.
Seriously, I played a TvP against another diamond player and I don't think I was ever not immediately maxed after a battle. I made 3 reactored factories and used the hellbats to max stupidly quickly after each battle. Didn't even seem like I needed to trade cost effectively.
No Protoss players were underpowered during this post.
Mario's keyboard stopped working in his live casted WCS game against Tyler. None of his units moved and his tanks were unsieged as Tyler just walks up and kills his entire army.
*edit* Just to clarify I do not think he is full of shit. If you watched it as it happened there really is no question that something was wrong.

Eh, not that hard. I've been race switching for a few days and I feel pretty okay about it.

Yeah, I'm going to start practicing reaper exand, into mech/hellbat drops. Looks brilliant
I think all its going to do is encourage more stargate openings, which can be a nightmare for mech unless you go thor
