My Shepard never punches the reporter because he's in a representative function and the damn thing is being broadcasted, because he respects freedom of the press, because he doesn't employ violence against civilians, and because answering all her questions in earnest is so much more satisfying as a retort.

As much as I love the Shepard punch, I almost always choose paragon for those conversations. In 1 I choose it because it was Shepard's first time out as Spectre and I didn't want the public to think she was an ass. In 2 I picked it because her paragon response is just so darn good that how can I not? In 3 I punched because at that point, she really had it coming (Plus for once Shepard isn't in full armor, so I felt ok with it).

This will always be a better comeback than punching her. Punch her, you're just a thug. Reply, and you show you're actually capable of defending your decision and that you're better than her.
And yeah, I feel pretty uncomfortable punching out a lady while I'm in full armor just because she presented her questions in a mean way.
Also in 3 earth is burning and most people she knows are probably dead. I can forgive her for being a little upset. Then, I tell her what's the score and to help earth in any way she can.

Yeah the earth is burning and Shep has a lot of weight on her shoulders and Kalisa decides that is the best moment to troll bait me.

Hey! I absolutely respect the Freedom of the Press!
I just also equally support Freedom of the Press to Get Decked For Being Shitheels
No seriously how do I get the ball rolling on a amendment that makes punching Rush Limbaugh in the face constitutionally protected?
And if they had merged the MP gear into SP we could've had Shepard equipped with a Batarian Gauntlet and following immediately after her on a wave of hate.
I do kind of hope they add class specific actions and cutscenes in the next Mass Effect. Weird to have my Adept Shepard always choosing to shoot or punch something when he's a powerful biotic. Or having other characters using their crazy ass space magic, and Shepard's just there plinking away with a pistol.

On the other hand, shooting the bottle when you're an adept is hilarious.
That's right Garrus, I never even use guns, let alone a sniper rifle, and I'm still better than you.
I still wish that manguard comic with Shep charging the bottle was true.
Because I would pick that option EVERY TIME!

One of the reasons I deliberately miss that shot, aside from the great line from Garrus, is that I don't feel it's realistic for my non-infiltrator Shep to be suddenly good with a sniper rifle. Even though the wheel says "miss deliberately", I don't really think my Shep could have hit it were it not for cutscene magic (I know how bad I am with sniper rifles).
In ME4, I want one, just one cutscene where the protagonist uses their signature power. Cloak, charge, AR, tech armor, (whatever makes adepts and engineers so cool).

Obviously Adept Shepard needs to open up a singularity to catch the bottle, then slowly and meticulously aim at it.
I pretty much universally play Paragon Shep and I always punch the reporter
Always
One of the few regrets I have with Mass Effect is that I can't invite that reporter for a tour of the Normandy, drop her on a Hazard planet and then have the Normandy hover over her so she can stare for a few moments the freshly painted middle finger I had put on the belly of the Normandy when we swung by the Citadel to pick her up before leaving her to die.
Also in this scenario Femshep would have the option to order Joker to flip things the bird.
I would have much preferred Al-Jilani on the Normandy than Chobot, even if her and Shepard never got along.
Especially if she and Shep never got along.
In ME3, if you don't deck her, she's one of the best voices out there for the war effort. But if you decked her before, she still doesn't like you, even if she admits it's good you're on the same side.
So, now you both have "Help the alliance" as a common goal, while continually ticking each other off, plotting sabotage, and so on. Fun times!
Quick question regarding the Citadel DLC and a choice in the main game.
Mainly I want to know if there are any ramifications in the DLC for sacrificing Aralakh company to save the Rachni Queen? Need to make that choice soon.

Took the javelin out for a spin since it has a thing for Machine Mastery, man it is just the best thing taking a geth infiltrator and piling on the drill rounds. 5+ meters of penetration. Only 6 shots on a jav I though.
My only regret is that I didn't get to visit Glacier before hitting 200k.
Also, having done a bit of heavy melee spam with it, I am really tempted to use one of my respec cards and make a melee GI. It felt pretty meaty, and staggers to boot.
It was that somehow, from within the derelict-horror, they had learned a way to see inside an ugly, broken thing... And take away its pain.

Thank you. Should make that decision slightly easier.
Has anyone yet made a GIF out of the Citadel's dancing Vorcha? I've been looking for one, and I cannot imagine the internet would fail so horribly as to overlook such an essential task.
As I said, it's very situational. I mean, yeah, it's good when turrets come up and just good against Geth in general. But then Reapers or Collectors come up, and the best you can do is overheat some mook or lieutenant's gun.
Kinda iffy on bosses but its a darn good aoe stagger to abuse headshots.
Some classes shine against certain enemy types, that's nothing new. Yes, classes with energy drain aren't nearly as strong against non-geth, and classes with sabotage or stasis aren't nearly as strong against collectors and reapers.
I don't think that's necessarily an issue. We (in PA) tend to do a lot of unknown/unknown but I don't think that's the default choice that the devs assumed people would be making.

And even then being able to stagger things is pretty much always useful.
I mean sure, you can't totally demolish Reapers with Overload/Energy Drain the way you can Geth but you can stagger that lone marauder that was about to snipe one of your teammates.

Biotic charge: the new Krogan headbutt.
The next shot is of the presidium's glass shattering as she flies out the window.
