That schedule was a guide. The previous item on the schedule is not yet complete (although close).

I plan on using the WePay store this year since I already have an authorized WePay account from last year. The fees are a little more, but I would be able avoid haveing to front the money this year.
I got an estimate so I think we are at a point with the design I could start taking orders.
I should have the order link up this week. I'll put the Forum pin up at the same time so shipping can be combined.
well if the order form is about to go live I guess now would be the time to ask about exceptions to the mailing rule, given it would probably cost about 5 times as much for the coin and pin (definitely in for both if something can be worked out) in postage to the UK
I dunno maybe even mailing it out say the week before PAX to my hotel? (if your mailing them out yourself that is)

Last year, you were able to pick up at PAX. Several people/ Enforcers, volunteered their time & had a set schedule of place & times to pick up if you didn't want it shipped. I'm guessing it should be the same this year, but don't hold me to it. More information should be coming when it's time to order.

@SkeleVader already said on page 1 that the will call etc thing wasn't happening this year as it was too much work, I left the question until all the design discussion (ie the important stuff) was done, but it seemed appropriate to ask now before the order page was finalised (unless that's already done )

Thanks for bringing this up.
I do ship them myself & I just use the flat rate envelopes for simplicity sake. So anyone coming from overseas is in the exceptions list.
I think the best option for people in your situation would be for me to drop off your package at the front desk of the hotel you are staying at rather than trying to meet up.
For those of us ordering multiple coins I have a couple questions.
Will shipping be extra for each coin? Or since you're mailing flats rate, will shipping stay the same price no matter how many?
And second, is there a cap on how many coins one person can order?

Shipping will be one flat rate for all your coins and pins. I use the flat rate envelopes so its one price for as many as I can fit. They are lined with bubble wrap and seemed to work really well last year.
No limit on how many you can order. Since I am using the store this year I won't have to buy a certain amount up front. I will be able to take orders until the deadline and then give PCC an exact number.
Ok cool. Once I place an order, is payment due then? Or is there a kinda leeway/grace period?
I am getting coins for me and friends in my group, but am short on funds right now. It will be three weeks before I get paid again, and I don't want to miss out on getting the amount I need to.

Payment will be due at the time of order, but the order period will be open for about a month. So if you are short on funds you can wait until closer to the deadline. As long as you order before the deadline you will get your coins.
And on the other side of that, if you order right when the store goes up you won't be getting them until early August most likely.
I specifically asked WePay if I could do the store this way this year and they said yes so hopefully all goes well with ordering this year.
Awesome. Thank you so much. I appreciate the help.

Draft update:
We are making some good progress. The hex background looks much better.
I still have a few comments though:
Front:
One of the hexes was the wrong color (right above the D20) & the size of the dice & meeple were not changed. They are still almost touching the wording.
Back:
The width of the outer ting is too big, it needs to be smaller to be like the previous coins.
Also, I'm still waiting on a revised estimate to put up the WePay store.
So is the idea still to match the dice with the design we end up doing for the forum dice or can this not wait?
While i totally think this would be the coolest thing ever, in fact iirc i suggested it :P, i dont think that it should hold up either project. if @skelevader says its go time, then it is go time.

I would like for them to be as similar as possible. The actual ordering of the coins won't happen for another month or so. At that time we can discus making any final tweaks to the D6 if we want.
The inner ring will look just like it does in the example. The space needle prevents the ring from going all the way. Last year was the only year the inner ring went all the way around.
I am still waiting on an updated estimate from PCC before I can open up ordering.
The price has gone up since last year and the current estimate I have is for only 100 coins. I know we will order more than that so I asked him to redo the estimate with 301 as the quantity to get the price lower.

No, I already know there is plenty if interest seeing as this is our seventh coin. Once I get the final price quote you will be able to order your coin(s).
PCC has given me a few art revisions that I have sent back with corrections (he can't seems to get the proportions right) but he keeps leaving out the estimate.

any idea on the estimated price yet? I know probly a stupid question. I'm just looking to budget for the ten coins I need.
The estimate I have is based off us ordering only 100 coins and that would put them about $8.
I know we will order many more than that so I am waiting on the new estimate with a larger quantity and thus a cheaper overall price. I am guessing they will end up about $6 per coin, but that is not a firm price yet.
