There's been something odd with the servers this past week. Some in our guild noticed we could zone into any instance, zone back out and the Mogu Coin quest reset (worked for me with the Mogu'Shan Palace entrance by the GL rep vendor). Unfortunately I didn't have enough lesser charms to get more than 3 extra Runes out of it.
I noticed this as well but didn't realize the cause and only saw it happen once. I was also able to redo the barrens weekly.

Finally back into raiding, woo!
Alt group (and my main and maybe one other main) started up a new Monday raid group and we decided to run through MSV for gear for the 2 fresh 90 alts. Hour and a half later we were done, 1-shot everything including an 8-man/1 healer kill of Spirit Kings because the two healers got gibbed by...I'm not entirely sure what (and we couldn't raise them because a rebirth had already been used at the start of the fight for the main tank who went: "It's okay, I'll pull like like I norma...*DEAD TO CLEAVE*").
You no longer have to log in to WoW, SC2, or D3, as clicking play will automatically log you in.
A list of your BattleTag and RealID friends is now shown in a small window in the client.
Chat is disabled for this phase of testing, but you will be able to chat with your BattleTag and RealID friends in the future.
So, is it just me or are the pets for the second tier raiding with leashes achievement incredibly low drop rate?
Done it religiously for the last 3 weeks, I'm sitting at one pet
Right there with you. I got all the TK ones, but that's it so far. Pretty bad drop rate compared to getting all of the 1st raiding with leashes pets in 2 weeks except for fucking Maexnna which did take 2 months. But I got tons of those pets and sold the spares.
Guys who have done the Warlock green fire quest, is there a reliable way to stop the felhunters from devouring enslave off of the pitlord?
I have the first phase down pat, but I don't seem to be able to handle the damage of the felhunters, especially when the pit lord decides to get in on the act.
The fel hunters can only dispel the enslave if they are facing in roughly the pit lord's direction. When I did it, I sent the pit lord far left of the main portal, and stood slightly to the right of it, picking them fel hunters up as they spawned so they'd run to me (and thus the pit lord would be behind them). After that I would reposition myself further right so I could send the pit lord back on the boss.
I did it in much the same way. A rain of fire on the gate gets the felhunters moving right and never facing the pit lord, though one has to be a bit careful about moving once they stack up to attack.
A soulshatter during the felhunter summoning makes the boss a non-issue as you won't have to dodge chaos bolts and can have the pit lord in range of him to dps or if playing it safe just sitting there to waiting to charge should he get into cataclysm before you clear the puppies.
I have not gotten past the boss at the end of the hall of fun in the green fire chain because I cannot do it as affliction and I refuse to go Demo for anyone or anything

You probably wouldn't want to go Demo for him, anyway. I've heard Demo is probably the hardest spec to do it as. Destro is reportedly the easiest, Affliction is doable but a bit harder, and Demo is the hardest.
I ended up getting to him myself, but never actually engaged him at the time. My gear was kinda shit and I didn't really wanna spend time on him right then and there anyway. But, my gear is better now, so I might give it a go soon.
Only problem is my mainspec IS Demo, and it's the one I'm most comfortable playing. I have a Destro offspec, but I have almost zero experience with it. Hrrrngh.
I ment Destruction the one spec I refuse to use as I have a mage thank you

I have been relearning Deamon when I do Scenarios I think I have it down

It feels super low. I have been running stuff on most of my alts and am lucky to get 2-3 across like 5 characters a week. That's kind of bad. RWL1 was much better drop rate I think.
Luckly I am down to just needing the one off Vashj now. I ended up buying the Phoenix Hatchling because it was like 1k at AH tho :P
We're doing attempts on Heroic Jin'rokh 10m this week (hopefully, assuming everyone shows up on time), I'm scurred! How brick-wally is he?
It'll depend on how bad your raid's situational awareness is. Do you trust them to dodge through a maze of moving lightning balls and do you trust them to get out of the water when they get a debuff that does a lot of lightning damage to the raid? If so you should be okay.
If not, slamming your junk in the nearest door may be more productive.
So I've started getting into pet battles, and am at Major Payne with a Magical Crawdad, Onyxian Whelpling, and Terrible Turnip. My question is what pets should I look into obtaining/leveling for the purposes of continuing my journey?

So, I'll just run over to the nearest door then. Good to know. Mostly the dodging maze thing, we're not good at that. Getting out of the water should be fine.

Magical Crawdad and Onyxian Whelpling are good pets for getting to the end. I see you have the Darkmoon Zep/Tonk, they're both pretty good. I personally like the Tonk more, but the zep is good for leveling pets and is handy to have around. Celestial Dragonling is a decent overall pet as well, but I would use it or the Onyxian Whelp, two dragons probably not the best. Going through your list, you have some good pets but with bad breeds, so if you don't wanna go get anything new, I'd just replace the Turnip with Tonk or Zep and go crush everything.
My team for beating the trainers the first time around was Magical Crawdad, Celestial Dragonling and the Cinder Kitten which sucks. So Magical Crawdad, Onyxian Whelpling and Darkmoon Tonk/Zep would probably smush most everything.
Sounds like good advice. Thanks for taking the time to look at the pets I have.
By the way, which good pets do I have that are bad breeds? Maybe I could look for replacements? Also, any wild pets I should keep my eyes on? I've heard good things about the Kun'lai Runt, for example.

Yellow Moth is really good and a total lifesaver in the beasts of fable, but you need a P/P one to make it shine. That's actually pretty easy to get as you just buy the 50s things from the exodar until one poops out. In other pets, a S/S rabbit is the best one to have imo, but that can be a gigantic pain in the ass unless you have a critter stone, since rabbits can be like 7 breeds. A P/P spawn of Ony is technically better than the Whelpling, but not really worth it unless you get real deep into pet battles.
For stuff to look for, a P/P Jade Oozeling is amaaaazing. My Jade Oozeling is a battering ram of destruction, can plow through 2 pets easy as long as they don't have a damage shield. P/P Nexus Whelpling is a fun pet to have, as is the Rapana Welk (easy to get too, all the welks're are B/B, so just need rarity). I also like the new Electrified Razortooth from the Isle. He's not incredible, but can do a lot of damage pretty quickly.
Oh, scourged whelpling can be good as well. I find it pretty useful against healing pets, call darkness is a good fuck you.

Oh, and when you get the debuff, everybody has to be 8 yards away from each other (excepting tanks, which don't get it), and 8 yards away from the water.
Sounds like good advice. Thanks for taking the time to look at the pets I have.

Rabbit isn't that bad actually. Just have a low level character go around the farm area in northern stormwind with the terrible turnip, looking for ones that have 11 (I think) speed. They respawn faster than I can beat them. Levelling them to 10 or so for the addon to pick up which breed is usually fast, especially if you are using a higher level pet to boost them.

To add more to this, you ARE allowed to stand near each other (and the water) since the debuff doesn't actually do anything unless it is dispelled or drops off. Once it's dispelled/drops off though, it will do like 400k damage to anything around you and travels through the water.
A neat trick is that a bunch of classes can avoid the mechanic entirely. They need to cast these BEFORE the cast or the raid dies, but mages can Iceblock (With Cold Snap they can avoid 3/4 of the Ionizations), hunters can Deterrence, rogues can CoS, and Paladins can bubble. I'm not sure if there are any others except like, resto druids with symbiosis on a mage or something.
You know, I wonder if the launcher is going to be the first step towards the beta for Hearthstone and All Stars finally kicking off.
Unrelated: 7/20 Secrets from last night. Getting closer, but so far away... not looking forward to having to hunt runestones after this too.

I kept trying to run LFRs on my Druid last night but my game would lock up *every time* on Jin'rohk. I dunno what's up with that. By the time I'd get back in the group had apparently kicked me (or else the game auto-booted me, I dunno).
Uninstalled & reinstalled my graphics driver from scratch - hope that helps. I may have to think about getting a new card though. This one is not that old (GTX 570) but I still have performance issues like crazy (CPU 0 is always super busy). I wonder if the sound card could also be a factor - it's ancient. I don't really know which ones are good these days tho. Sound card is not something you replace all that often :P
So according to a blue, the hotfix for the Runestone drop was set to go live 3 hours after the server reset. They actually told everyone it would be up after "raid reset" in one post and "realm restart" in another. This has led to a very high number of people not getting their runestones. Awesome.
Try taking the sound card out and see what happens. I use a USB sound card and connect my headset to that (my 5H came with its own sound card; I picked up a Creative one for travel).
The 5.3 section of the legendary questline was pretty fun. Unlike 5.2's section, the RP was actually interesting enough to watch, short enough to do in one sitting, and required more than pure luck to advance. Also, didn't hurt that the cloak increased my average item level by 5 :rotate:

Weird, I've had a ticket in for almost 2 days with no response. Last time I put one in the response was stupid fast, for a similar issue. Maybe I missed some magic keywords, or they're experiencing a spike.
For those who took part in a Throne of Thunder Raid and/or killed Lei Shen as a part of the Legendary quest line prior to the implementation of the hotfix this morning at 10:00 a.m. PDT and didn’t receive a Titan Runestone or Secrets of the Empire , we will be providing one to you. This includes those who started the Raid prior to that time, and did not kill Lei Shen until after the hotfix. In order to receive your runestone, you will need to submit a support ticket to Customer Service.
For any others who have not received your Titan Runestone or Secrets of the Empire after entering and completing the raid after the hotfix, please continue to share your information in this thread so that we can investigate further. We will need the character name, realm name, and time that you killed Lei Shen.
I really, really, really wish this Razorgore pet would just fucking drop already, because I am beyond over this fight. It seems completely up to chance whether the adds will ignore him and aggro straight to me, or stay on Razorgore, in which case I guess I'm completely up shit creek for that attempt.
