Worrying about finding work once my contract is over.
Welp people in about three months I will have the contract of my current job end, it was a 6 month contract that got renewed for another 6 months doing graphic design and web design work for a companies marketing department. That said one thing that I'm worried about since it was my first job apart from some freelance stuff in my career after uni. But I can't stop panicking about the idea of being unemployed. I mean I knew finding work will hard in my field and everything but am I just being silly? Doesn't help it will be the first time I've ever been unemployed since I was 15.

Start looking for work now. That is the best and only thing you can do.
And it seems like all is dying, and would leave the world to mourn
Being worried in this situation is pretty normal. Assume you won’t get renewed and have something else lined up. Work on freelance projects, and most importantly, design a killer online portfolio that makes you look like a hirable professional. That way if they want to renew you have leverage to push them into actually hiring you so that they have to start giving you the full time benefits that you deserve. Staying in long term contract jobs will only hurt you in the long run. It devalues you—and all other graphic designers—by allowing businesses to hire designers in a way that most benefits their bottom line at the expense of the entire design profession.
