Kaelin gives Phelan two taps on the back, hefting her rifle from her back to her shoulder, then nods her head back at the trollkin at the bar. Her usual cheerful expression masked by a face Phelan knew well - there was trouble about, and she was ready for battle.
"Balls kid. I can't take you anywhere." Phelan complains taking a hard look at the trollkin. Phelan didn't see anything but trusted Kaelin. Something was up, abd Phelan hoped it wouldn't end in blood.
"Carolan, any word on the trollkin at the bar? He's eyeballing my girl here and that won't end well. He smells like trouble and we've got sensitive noses."
Dunnok hadn't been lying about helping. He hadn't expected--or intended--Kaelin to actually start drinking, he'd just been hoping for a free pitcher. Here it was, and yet Kaelin hadn't quite gotten the hint. There was only one thing for it: gluttony. He ran through as much of the brew as quickly as he could, and by the time the trollkin's behavior had been noted he was feeling much better.
He hadn't joined up to have his observational skills relied upon; he saw himself more as a deterrent--assured destruction, but some folks just couldn't take a hint.
"'Ere we go," he murmured as the snaps holding his weapons in their holsters came loose. Had he fought in a bar last night? Maybe. It wasn't clear, but he might be on his way to a more memorable one today.
Sorry for the delayed posts! Work drug me out to Vegas, then California, then back to Vegas again. I guess I could have posted instead of making a trip to The Strip, but... No.
If my role play is hindered by rolling to play, then I'd prefer the rolls play right, instead of steam-rolling play-night.

Would be nice if Rain could let us know whether or not this is gonna continue. Guess not at this point but it's nice to hear straight from the GM's mouth.
I'm sorry, guys. As a rule I tend towards flakiness, and I've been pretty busy and haven't been putting thought towards this game, it kind of just slipped off my table.
If you want I can dig up my notes when I get home from work and continue, but I'm not promising regular updates.
