@Imsorad, this is speculation but I doubt there will be two day passes. We'll probably see 4-day and 1-day.
Three day passes are almost automatically out just because there's a weird overlap of the middle days that makes for a situation with empty Friday and Monday and instant sold out Saturday and Sunday.
Now that I've speculated I have a question for people who know how to use twitter better than I do. Several people have set up alerts on their phones for tweets from OfficialPAX. (I have an android phone) How do I do that?

Go into twitter, go to the pax page and select turn on mobile notifications. Works for any phone.

From the Twitter app: Go to the official PAX account page, follow them. Then click on the silhouette icon and the top option should be to turn notifications on/off.
Yeah, additional speculation about what type of badges will or will not be available is 100% moot. We have received official word on exactly what will be available.
Yea, I can't see Prime anywhere other than Seattle. I do expect if they open another PAX though it would be Austin TX. I love Seattle and the city is the reason I make PAX a yearly trip.
My guess would be for Chicago instead of Austin if they were to add a PAX midwest.
Because I'm in a speculatin' mood. I think PAX London will be next. They're due for a Europe PAX. I was actually a little surprised that PAX Aus came first. (Then again I regularly forget that Australia is a place. Not trying to insult Australians, it's just really really far away.)

The next PAX should be PAX Sweden in like Nov/Dec or PAX Hawaii in like may
To alleviate the problem of interest outstripping supply what PAX Prime really needs is an expansion to the Washington State Convention Center. Unfortunately that has been stuck in the planning/funding phase for the past few years and I don't see that changing anytime soon. Though it does seem that there has been some incremental movement this year: http://www.bizjournals.com/seattle/news/2013/03/28/washington-state-convention-center.html
Regardless, PAX is going to sell out fast, let's just hope it's not BlizzCon fast
From what I've heard they no longer do any group registration.
And as far as I know, there is a limit on how many badges each person can buy. Is it 5? I think it's 5.
This drives me nuts every year, I buy six tickets - for my family of six, sorry for having so many kids! We have one credit card we use, no desire to get another and we get to do the will they or won't they cancel it dance. Not directing this at you SmallLady, just general ugh feeling on my part.

I think this is an instance where emailing registration@paxsite.com and/or pax_questions@paxsite.com ahead of time can help you.
I have never been to PAX before and am planning to attend with my friends this year. When everyone talks about badges selling "fast", how fast exactly are we talking?
Am I going to be out of luck if I don't get them within the first couple of minutes that they are on sale? First few hours? Days?
No one knows. I would say you have maybe a 4 hour window to grab full 4 day passes?

@SkeleVader made a spreadsheet showing sellout times. It's hard to say exactly when things will sell out, but to be safe, you'll want to pounce on passes within hours. If last year is anything to go by, waiting days won't even be an option.
@BennyBenz The answer to that question is, nobody is quite sure. Last year three-day passes sold out in four hours and single day passes only lasted a bit longer. Several theories are floating around about this being due to factors other than pure PAX popularity. (The LoL tournament being part of the ticket and the cancelation of BlizzCon that year) So there's a possibility that tickets will last longer this year than they did last year.
I don't expect them to last more than a day or so though. PAX East, which in a larger venue and thus has more tickets, sold out of three day tickets in a little over a day. The single day tickets lasted a fair bit longer.
The fact that it's a 4 day con might reduce the pressure on 4 day passes.
This is especially true if PA finally fixed the pricing and made one 4day pass = the price of four 1day passes. So if a 1day were $35 a 4day would be 150. Since last year and before it was always more economical to buy a 3day even if you were only going for two days
Before posting any links that you may or may not receive from OnPeak, please attempt to verify that it was supposed to be public. Last year there was a snafu where OnPeak started sending links to people that should not have received them, and they got posted here before they were supposed to be public.
I just hope they don't go on sale while I'm in class!
"Excuse me, professor, I need to leave now to go purchase my tickets for the video game convention."
If I were your TA I think I'd let you go but only if you got me tickets too.

Does anybody know how friendly the registration page is with mobile browsers? If registration goes live while I'm at work I'll be trying to use my Android phone to get my passes.

I ordered my pass from mobile last year using the standard Android browser. It's very mobile friendly as long as your internet connection is good.

There's obviously no tickets always go on sale at X time, but what has it coincidentally been in years past?
Generally I think it's been at some time during a business day.
This is probably to ensure that there is staff on hand to deal with the site in case of issues. I'm expecting it to be in the morning (Pacific time). But I could be completely wrong.
It has generally been in the morning to late morning (Pacific Time) and always on a weekday, but remember that they put the registration site up a little while before they actually tweet it, so those times are just approximate.
If I remember correctly, didn't the front page to Prime update with the correct days and countdown a few days before the registration went live in years past? Because as of right now they still have last years info on the homepage.

Don't think they do that until after or right before it goes up like same day just before.
I think I'm going nuts. I got friends around the clock checking and I gotta make sure all 10+ of us get tickets....AND PAX was smart for locking down the hotels. Can't book them till the tickets are available

Yep that is exactly what happened before. But then again they may just wait until they are ready to go live and do one build out with the date changes and the link.

Maybe I should send an angrily worded email to Khoo for ruining my speculation fun. (Something tells me angrily worded emails to Khoo are a bad idea.)

Ok, I emailed the hotel people to see if they knew when OnPeak would be opening and this is what they said:
>_> GAH! It's soon guys!
Edit: I got this response today.
Let's try to not repeat that scenario.

Are they going with the old system this year? Is this known?

They used the "good" system for East this year. Something tells me they will stick with it, although that information is not known.
I added the times the passes have gone on sale to my spreadsheet based on when they were tweeted.
