It's raining fairly hard in Seattle (relative to the standard western Washington weather). Surely this means they have nothing better to do than release tickets, right? :winky:
Regardless, I have the Twitter feed, Prime forum page, and Prime registration page all tabbed out in Chrome with me hitting refresh more often than I probably should... Any other good sources are welcomed.
Once they went back to the "good system" it was fine on mobile for me (android chrome browser) other than the fact that it was just being slammed.
Are they going with the old system this year? Is this known?
They used the "good" system for East this year. Something tells me they will stick with it, although that information is not known.
Even though they used the "good" (InteractiveTicketing) system for East, they also used a new system (ShowClix) for AUS.
That's likely due to differing regulations considering Austrailia is a different country with different laws, show clix is probably an Austrailia specialist.
I think we all have to remember that there is a new variable in the mix.
PA & Reed have a lot of work to do right now with PAX Aus being less than 100 days away. That's where their priority is going to be.
True but they need to get the process started for prime and the hotels need to get those spots booked.

OnPeak already has the hotels booked. Just have to wait for the them to release the link (hopefully not early this year.) And I'm sure the process has been started, but as SmallLady said, Aus process is taking center stage at PA most likely for the time being.

I thought about that too, but both companies are US. Add that to the fact that no matter if it is Prime, East, or Aus you need a ticketing system that works world wide, I find it telling that they went with a different company for Aus. To me, them trying to use a new system last year, plus the new system for Aus says they might not use Interactive Ticketing this year. Of course, it doesn't really matter all that much and I am just trying to find another excuse to talk about PAX.
Given the newnewss of Aus, I wouldn't be surprised if they used the "new" ticketing for that as a testbed for future usage in East and then Prime. I'm skeptical they would pull the trigger so soon after Aus going on sale with the "new" system for Prime which is still the biggest bag of hurt for servers of the three. I would expect the rollout to be Aus->East->Prime to sort of "ramp up" to the biggie.

Didn't they start selling Aus tickets about the same time in regards to east as we are to Aus? Granted I wasn't paying attention because I don't really care for PAX Aus, but could have sworn they started selling tickets around the 100 day mark

lol. Sorry, Bethesda tweeted that. I've been watching Twitter like a hawk, and when that popped up I felt the need to share.

Prime 2012 ended Sep 2nd, and East went on sale Oct 8th. Aus went on sale Oct 22nd.
Someone should setup a "when will PAX registration go live" pool. (Similar to a NCAA final four pool, except exciting...) Robert Khoo, PA and Reed staffers would be prohibited from playing.

Okay, Half-day segments, starting this afternoon, through the 30th. Weekdays only. Pick one. Like I said, I'm taking afternoon of the 19th. (morning/afternoon based on PDT).
Well, none of us lowly forum peons know, but I am sure there are PA employees watching us and laughing (Not really laughing, but you get the point).
No, no, they are laughing...laughing evil laughs, as they watch the thread and make plans to go live when everyone least expects it, 2am Sunday morning!
Gazing into my crystal ball has granted me a vision of the future.... and its the morning of the 17th. Granted, that won't stop me from stalking the forums and twitter for PAX reg announcements the way a lion stalks antelope at a watering hole until the word is given.

If they go on sale today I hope it's after 1:00
Honestly, we're all guessing wildly here, nobody has any idea when registration will open.
