Does anyone's 3DS XL creak when you hold or squeeze it (lightly) by the stylus-holder (right side)?
I swear I must have a ripoff model or something.
Also, why do I never get new stationary? All I have is the boring blank one.
You need to send messages to unlock features. Once you've unlocked alternate stationary then you'll automatically save any new ones you are sent. At this point you will have to go back through your old messages received before then and read them again to get them to save though.
There's at least one 3DS game a month I'm interested in for the rest of the year. That's pretty good. Sure some hey we're doing this on eshop announcements would be nice but I'm perfectly satisfied right now.
Next year is going to be odd though; right now its literally just Super Smash Bros. and BD:FF/Layton if you're in America.
Thanks to EBGames (Australia's Gamestop division) being unable to ship items from one store to another (dot dot fucking dot), looks like I'm not getting a black 3DS XL.
Maybe I can will myself into being okay with silver in the next few days.
The 3DS XL is going to be my first ever Nintendo console. It's gonna take a while to scrounge up the cash but gosh darn it, I'm so excited.
It's got a ton of great games. Really a very spiffy device.
I don't have a case for mine, so every morning I pick a game to bring with me to work to play during my lunch break. Choosing between stuff like Fire Emblem, DKCR, Sonic and Kingdom Hearts is a crazy tough choice. The 3DS library is turning out to be as good as the DS library, and that's saying a lot.
With that said, I think I'm returning Roller Coaster Tycoon on Friday (I bought it used so I have that leeway to do so within a week). The controls are just too shitty for me to get used to. I might put the $$ towards Animal Crossing unless the wife overrules me as having it be too close to father's day.
Kinda disappointed in Nintendo for not announcing a new 3DSXL for POGEYMANS X & Y.
I need a 3DS to fully enjoy specifically that game.
Well we are still four months away, they may surprise us closer to release. E3 would have been the logical choice to show something like that, but Nintendo. I just want that sexy Charizard XL to be quite honest.
I fully expect them to announce a Pokemon 3DS XL at some point, but it's still a bit too early for that. We're still 4 months away from the launch of X & Y.

Hi,
I'm debating buying a 3DS. Awesome system. However, I have wrist/tendon issues that can flare up pretty easily. So, I'm trying to think out logically what has the best chances of being the most comfortable for me. I'd say I have average size hands (not big, but not super small either). My wife has both the 3DS and the 3DS XL. The XL seems to have a bit more comfort, but the weight is obviously a bit more. I've been doing research and it looks like having something like the Circle Pad Pro attached would make the use of the device overall more comfortable (even if inconveniently covering some buttons.
What does everybody think is the more comfortable solution overall? A regular 3DS with CPP or a 3DSXL with CPP? I know ultimately it comes down to what works for me, but I'm curious what others' experiences yielded.

I own a Wii U and while the weight is a bit of a problem I find the design of where my hands sit on the gamepad comfortable..
I don't know a lot about your situation, such as which hand(s) are causing the most issue, and whether you like to play at home in one spot or on the go in short sessions.
This is my experience with my very mild wrist pain: Sometimes I have to adjust the 3D or turn it off because the Best Viewing Angle is not with the device resting comfortably on my knee. Any game that requires holding the system with just my left hand and using the d-pad at the same time, I have to rest my wrist occasionally. Again, my problem isn't anywhere near severe, so I don't know if sharing my experience helps at all.
If you're cool with sitting down at a desk to play, and assuming the angle is comfortable for you, there's the Kid Icarus stand.
Iwata, Aonuma and Konno pushed me past 777 Streetpasses (about 80% of that is from my old 3DS, though), their puzzle pieces completed the Mario Tennis, Kirby Anniversary and Donkey Kong puzzles, and soon I'll have my code for free New Leaf.
It's been a good 3DS week, that's for sure.

Did they send out a new puzzle? I got a notification for a new puzzle but it may have been an old notification since I checked and didn't get anything when I loaded it up.
Not referring to the guy they sent out earlier, I got him and his puzzle piece. I'm buffing my pink pieces for the Animal Crossing puzzle in anticipation of my trip to NYC and Zelda concert this and next month. Should be able to snag all the pink pieces minimum between the two, if not complete all the puzzles.

Wouldn't normally pick blue for hardware, and this would be my first limited edition console, but the emblem looks relatively low key and tasteful. I've heard people are trading their MH3 codes in return for codes for one of the eight games in the other promo, is that always the case? My regular blue XL is black only on the cover and back cover, the hinge and insides are all matte black.
