My only issue with Troy Baker's take on the Joker is that he seems to be doing his damnedest to impersonate Mark Hammill's efforts, rather than trying to find the character's voice on his own. Sounds great, though.
To be fair it probably has a lot to do with the fact that this game is in the same series/continuity as the games with Hamill Joker, so sounding similar makes sense.
So both AA and AC receiving GFWL/Securom removal patches. Also, steam achievements and trading cards are being added. It looks like if you owned the base games before, you get the GOTY versions for free, and you can activate any non-Steam copies you owned on Steam for free now.
As if that weren't enough, both games are 75% off on Steam this weekend. This is how you market a sequel, people!

I will admit that ACIV is the first of the series that has me interested, but that's because I love Pirates.

I'll probably get Watch Dogs as it looks pretty interesting.

I will however say that I appreciate the support they continue to give Nintendo when other third parties drop them like a burning crap bag. Gotta give props for that.
After watching some of the gameplay video's, I think the lack of Kevin Conroy may break it for me. Hearing that strange voice as Batman took me right out of the game.
I dunno, it sounded alright to me. But they easily could have gotten one of the other actors who have done passable Batmen. I know Diedrich Bader isn't busy. Get him.

Didn't he trash-talk the original James from Silent Hill 2 when he got the role of James for the HD remake? I know the person they got for Mary and Maria basically threw the entire SH2 cast under a bus.

James' original voice also was rather perfect if you've finished the game, he's a guy basically lying to himself with every word he says and part of him knows it. At the very end he finally sounds like a real person. It's one of the most misunderstood performances in gaming.
After watching the TV spot a few times today, I've realized I hate the sad little boy Bruce that seems to be popular all of a recently. I don't understand why they would focus on that instead of the whole price on Batman's head plot.
Somehow I'd missed that one too. Sexy.
I certainly like the terror in the night aspect of Batman that the game and the game trailers convey. That's my ideal Batman. Not "stand in the middle of a room and hit thugs with only my elbows" like "Dark Knight and "Dark Knight Rises" Batman.
Can't wait for Friday.

GCI was wonderful. I still hop on occasionally to play a round. It gets harder to find a game each time.
WB is a pretty good PC publisher I've found. I thought both Batman games ran pretty well and their support of the Lego/Scibblenauts games on PC has been pretty good too. Plus they always seem to be Steamworks. Or at least a Steam CD Key. Though the GCI and GFWL are marks against them.
