So I just got a Vista laptop and I was wondering if you guys could recommend compatible Anti-Spyware software.

On another note, the only firewall I have is the one provided by my wireless router and the Vista one. Should I get a real program?

The only caveat is that said programs must be free.

I think the default ones that come with vista do a great job.

windows defender is actually good, and the firewall is decent as well.

AVG is an incredibly popular anti-virus tool and works fine with Vista. I pay for PC-cillin, though, because I find it's worth it.

As for anti-spyware, just use the same programs you would in XP (Ad-aware, Spybot S&D, Spyware Blaster...).
