Maybe we'll have a Trouble with Varren side-quest in ME4.
But instead of soft cuddly tribbles that we send to the Klingon ship, we send the rapidly breeding varren to Rannoch.
Unless Varren use the same protein structure as Turians and Quarians, how exactly are they gonna survive on Rannoch long enough to do the whole breeding thing?

Hmm, 140 hours played. All the gear unlocked and 2/3rds maxed. All but four rare characters are unlocked. Missing four UR weapons, have common and uncommon maxed, four rares maxed and a bunch moving along, UR are low, best is M-7 Lancer V. Still missing three rare weapon mods, those are about half way leveled.
I was working on silver extractions, shotgun mastery, and trying to get my remaining revive badges last night. Managed to reach 7/8 on shotgun mastery and picked up three more revive badges, only 43 more to go.

Odd that there appears to be no correlation between hours played and stuff unlocked. I have a way more complete inventory than grouch yet we have the same playtime in MP

I'm pretty sure I know what the difference is, my manifest is way more complete than a friend of mine with more hours, the difference is I've bought something like 5 JEPs ever, while he's dropped loads of credits on them.

I have 3 classes left to unlock and of course they're 3 that I really want (Fury, Havoc, and Warlord). Why couldn't they be classes I don't care about like the Quarians or (non-biotic) Volus...

Quarians have some baller classes.
They just aren't very flashy is all.
Ehhhh. Quarian Soldier seems like a low rent Turian Soldier, sabotage is great against 2 enemy types and not so great against the other 2, and snap freeze outclasses cryoblast in every way except range. Quarian classes are fine, but they don't seem to do anything (except fighting geth) really well.
FQE is honestly at least tier 2 at the very least.
I definitely wouldn't describe the soldier as a lesser TurSol because the Quarian gets more utility from sabotage and tac scan. Quarian soldier does really, really well in a team based environment.
What? Why would you send varren to Shepard's uninhabited vacation planet? You monster.
Send them to Heshtok instead. Comedy gold, right there.
The Reaper invasion of Heshtok encountered little formal military resistance, but the harvesting process is slow. Destroying neighboring cities fails to intimidate vorcha, who become submissive only if physically dominated in person. Cutting off their water supply simply makes them adapt their bodies to get moisture from food. Allied intelligence hypothesizes that Reaper forces are not harvesting yet, instead seeking to immobilize Heshtok's population and prevent them from joining the fight for the galaxy at large.
Mmm, I can get the Quarians because they get turned into robots.
But surely trying to convert the Volus when suit puncture means explosion would be a waste of assets?
Also Elcor husks is a terrifying notion. Strap some cannons to its back and make it a mix between a brute and a ravager.
I'm pretty sure that'd be the point behind Volus husks - suicide bombers. I'm also sure Bioware could hand-wave away that indoctrinated/captured volus could be converted without blowing their suit integrity.
Somehow I always thought Cannibals were Krogan husks. And I felt it was so unfair that they were so pathetic compared to Turian husks. (The less said about the Asari husks the better. "You're the most powerful biotics in the universe so you get to make this really irritating noise -- and a sync-kill when your target is really really lagged out!")

Banshees are damn dangerous. I've been killed by them plenty of times without any lag at all.

Got the game last Friday.
It's immensely enjoyable.
I'm not very good at it, on MP, i mean, especially since i don't have fancy guns or even upgraded common guns, but i'm getting better every game...
I'm kinda kicking myself for not jumping on the Mass Effect bandwagon earlier... Had i done so, i might've been able to partake in the challenge things?
Oh well, the game is still fun and that's what counts, right?

Fancy guns aren't required for the majority of classes.
Human adept, sentinel and engineer will all serve you well once you learn explosions (hint, hit with one spell, then another DIFFERENT spell will work most of the time).
Also are you on PC? Because we have a uhm... present for you :bz
Yeah Human sentinels are pretty legit and my avenger got good once I got the stability damper VI or whatever.
I'm planning on playing Friday afternoon/night, maybe prestige my tursoldier and get my human sentinel up to level 20 (or possibly get my adept up to lvl15 OR POSSIBLY GET A BETTER CLASS/GUN).
Two questions:
1-I can't see half of the classes when I look at my characters, I can only see the uncommon/some of the rare classes blacked out.
2-If you go to the Normandy's starboard observation deck with the poker table you can see a set of ashtrays with cigarettes in them, which like, alright, who the hell is smoking in a closed air system ship, also who do you think smokes on the Normandy?
I think Garrus started smoking because he thought it looked cool then got mad addicted
Ash started smoking at a young age (rebellious phase, military family, kinda southern vibe)
Tali puts tobacco whatever in her suit when she's drunk even though she "knows she shouldnt"
Vega also smokes when he's drunk
Mordin smoked once and "doesn't understand what humans get out of it"
Miranda stress smokes
WHO ELSE
