Well Shit, I think I have Phimosis

This is indeed quite the problem.
The foreskin of my penis cannot retract. It can go maybe 3/4 an inch, and then stops. I can pee fine, masturbating works, but my foreskin will not retract. I've had this for as long as I can remember, so it's not a recent occurance.
So what can be done about this? I'm 16, a Virgin, and I can't help but think that sex would hurt like a motherfuck if the foreskin can't retract.
I've heard there's a cream-style steroid thing for it, but what would be the most inconspicuous way of getting something like this? It'd be more than a bit uncomfortable to go up to my parents and be like "Man, I can't pull my foreskin back! It sucks for jerkin! Lets get medicine!"
Advice plz!

You get a steroid cream from the Doctor. Go see a doctor.

if this helps at all : I was a virgin till 18 and never once managed to retract my foreskin before that. When i first has sex it didn't hurt really, it was a bit uncomfortable at first, but once it's back, it's back...and if you've been doing the foreplay long enough, you'll be ready... the only bit that was uncomfortable was afterwards... i couldn't make it go back down for about 10 minutes after sex, but that stopped happening after having regular intercourse for a couple of weeks. Unless it's actually causing you pain when you jack off... i wouldn't worry.

in other words : i had the same issue, it wasn't a problem at all.

My doctor told me that it will retract naturally with sex, and not to worry. So I'm not.

But still, see a doctor and make sure.

I'm circumsized, so I know nothing of that... but dude... that's gotta be unhygenic.

There was a thread on this a while back, and the general consensus was...

Definately see a doctor. With no retraction, hygiene becomes a major issue. Embarrassing? Not nearly as much as you think, as there was prolly a time when both your parents swabbed your junk on a daily basis. Penile infections are a nasty business, it's going to be far less embarrassing now than when Captian Winky is falling off from gangrene. Man up and take care of it, you might need that bit later on.

Agreed. The consequences of ignoring this issue are going to be a lot more embarrassing than what you need to tell them now.

I have this problem. After some practice and cream from the doc, I can now manually retract it.

However, touching it hurts like a motherfucker. It's all dry.
