Hey @Ruby Rhod I started playing a bit of Divine Divinity last night! Digging it. The voice acting is pretty cornball, but endearingly so.

Yeah, the game celebrates funny and odd humor.

Seriously, I spend well over 90seconds trying to grab the left goddamn kidney

the kidneys are in such an awful spot, right up against the curve of the cavity and the bottom of it has those depressions so it is basically at the high end of a trough you can't fit your giant club hand in to

I haven't finished the first ambulance mission yet, but I found it helpful that the ambulance hit a bump after I finished severing all the stomach connections, and it popped right out on its own. No such luck with the lungs though, and the guy promptly bled to death in short order, but it was convenient.

If you are having trouble with getting to the kidneys, the spoon is a fantastic blunt tool.

I love forgetting the context of these conversations sometimes.

Okay, I managed the <2:50 kidney thing.
I could swear that I had an A++ rating on that mission before, but it says A in the menu, hrm

My new favorite way to sever the brain from the skull in the ambulance mission is to just drop a scalpel in his head and wait for a few bumps.

So, how do I get the 'Shh, I doctor now' achievement? I kinda end up weirdly probing the patient's face :S

I got it by grabbing his mask and holding it while moving his face around for a while.

    Oh @moriveth

There's a little "cheat" for getting a bed in your inventory so you can sleep anywhere. Look in a house near the abbey and you can find a portable bed. You're able to move it to your inventory and place it where you can return for rest or just carry it (it has no weight) and use it in an area clear of enemies.

Definitely helps out in the game so you don't have to travel far to rest.

Carry a bed around with me? Yes ma'am I will do that.

When I stumbled upon it the first time I was very excited. I don't know if they may have patched it though to no longer be weightless. If so, find two bushels of hay, one standing and one laying down (otherwise they will stack) and put them on top of eachother on the ground to make yourself a reusable bed you can carry around.

Oh, man. I was playing a mission as The Mole, and got a wild hair to try and dig through a really thick wall to see if I could bust out of the entire building. As I dug, letters started to appear. Then more, and more - a whole hidden message, put there only for people who decided to excavate this one random chunk of the building.

I think I'm in love with this game.

I just got A++ on the ambulance kidney transplant. Apparently I didn't need to worry so much about the fact I couldn't quite get the old kidneys out.

Man, the more of these videos I watch, the more I love Larian Studios (I already adored them). Original Sin is just the first of many RPG's they plan on making in this style and I could not be happier. They've ditched the main publishers to self publish games they want to make in their own style and this kickstarter has helped that happen. I feel like it's the late 90's again.

So I was having lots of fun with Far Cry 3, but there's one huge drawback: Approximately every 30 seconds or so, my framerate plummets to ~10 or so per second for a few seconds before going back to 35-60 or so. I'm kind of at a loss about what to do, because I've got two video cards in Crossfire (AMD 5770 and 6770, IIRC), 16 gigs of RAM, a 3.8 GHz CPU, and I'm running the game on the lowest settings. It's super frustrating and really harshin' my Far Cry buzz. Anyone have any ideas for things to check?

Don't have any suggestions for your framerate problem. I'm just bummed I can't really play FC3 because I realized a pattern of my eyes getting really tired and sore along with a headache after I play for an hour or so.

It is pretty intense, perspective-wise. And it turns out these sporadic framerate drops are a pretty common issue, according to google.

I had that exact same problem with FC3
