the history of the snapback in urban and hip-hop culture is really fascinating imo; learning why it's so common to leave the sticker on the brim was a revelation to 14-year-old me

Why is it so common to leave the sticker on the brim?

Like Muse said, it's indicative of affluence and legitimacy

It shows that not only can you afford to buy them new, you can afford to buy the genuine article

I've been asleep all afternoon thanks to the killer cold I have, which means I'm now in a sulk as I've missed the sun and will be up all night. I've got a date in less than an hour, and I'm a heartbroken bunny about ending it with the guy I really like on Sunday, and then having to do a nightshift with him on Monday, and I haven't done my hair, and blah. My dress makes me look like a rugby player, but I don't care, bcause I have my new bag.

    Look at the happy face!

Fashion bros, I need a haircut again soon and as always I don't know what I want.

I've been pretty into this sort of thing lately:

    curly-quiff.jpg

But I have some reservations about getting one. I have thick, thick hair that is far straighter than I am, and styling it has always been an ass and a half. Any version of this cut I see generally has hair with some shape to it. And if I do go for it, what sort of product should I be looking at getting?

My little brother has that haircut, and its fabulous. DO IT DO IT

I read about quiffs on the internet for a bit so I might try seeing if I can get my hair to do such styling things before even cutting it.

Provided I can find a hair dryer, I'm hoping my roommate has one.

what the hell were the chances that a scarf I finally like the looks of turns out to be themed as the Ankh-Morpork Guild of Assassins? I won't even be able to wear this fucking thing for six months but goddamn it I am prepared now

Do I spend the money I have for pax hotel on clothes now and rebuild those funds over the next few months or should I be all boring and responsible? My current collection of 3 pants, 5 tshirts and 2 button ups are starting to fall apart.

    Let's talk about shoulders

Due to Things(tm) I have extremely wide shoulders.

This all fine and dandy until I have to sit on the bus and then one of my shoulders is like halfway into the seat beside me and I feel like an asshole when someone sits beside me so then I try to sit awkwardly in an attempt to collapse my skeleton
