Really, if not washing your face wasn't causing problems, I wouldn't fix what ain't broke. Some people just rinse with water and are fine. Alternatively, it could just be your skin adjusting to a new routine. Or the products could be wrong. Skincare is so much trial and error.
I have combination skin too, and it's such a pain in the ass. What I've found works for me is keeping it thoroughly but gently exfoliated, and moisturizing. (Harsh products and overdrying will actually make your skin produce more oil to compensate.)
I use argan oil, personally. (Don't buy that $50 tiny bottle from Josie Maran. Plenty of brands sell it at much more reasonable prices. Just make sure it's straight argan oil; there are lots of argan oil hair treatments out there that are marketed as argan oil but are mostly dimethicone and stuff.) That vitamin E oil you can get at CVS (or maybe it's Walgreens?) is also not bad, and cheap. It's the one that's mostly safflower seed oil, not the straight vitamin E oil.

I don't know if this is fashion, but maybe? I started getting the paperwork together to get my name changed and I'm just 'abuhhhh?' about the whole thing. I don't like my name, and I haven't even been using it for the past 5-6 years, I've used a nickname for everyone but family and employers. But I guess my nickname is actually kind of odd and old-fashioned and a name people give to their dogs now, so I wouldn't be able to change my name to that because it would not be that great professionally.
So I'd sort of be changing my name for the second time now? I feel extraordinarily vain and odd about the whole thing. Isn't that what aspiring rock-stars and brides do? I'm neither.
And picking a new name is difficult, the first time I was trying to pick something similar to my real name and now I can pick whatever I want. It is too much freedom.
Are you asking us if you should walk around in cheaper sunglasses that prevent you from seeing a damn thing or if you should pony up the cash to buy sunglasses that allow you to actually see shit?
Cause, uh...buy the sunglasses with corrective lenses if you've got the cash for them.
I could really use prescription sunglasses, too. But I'm desperately trying to get out of this ungodly bright wasteland so it seems like a waste of money for me.

That is tough
I have a hard enough time naming my character in a video game; I can't imagine having to redefine the way I identify myself to the world (it would be Max Power, I would change my name to Max Power and that is what everyone would have to call me)
But if a girl decides she wants to be known as something else then a girl just gotta rename
I'm not too satisfied with mine. I bought my current glasses a few years ago at Lenscrafters during a big sale. It was half off lenses, so I got the thinnest ones I could, with some sort of scratch guard and the best transitions. They still take a while. It beats carrying sunglasses around, but they don't offer much actual protection from my understanding.

Oh yeah, that was not a sincere post! Transitions are useless.
Transition lenses would make the price go from 220€ to 390€. And I'm not even sure I want to spend 220€.
I'd go for prescription sunglasses. But if you really don't want to spend that kind of money, you could find one of those little clip on things for your normal frames. Not as good as proper lenses, but passable.

If you need sunglasses but also need a prescription, they're kinda meh.
If you need your prescription glasses but want to cut out the added glare, they're great.
That said, 220 Euros sounds like a lot for prescription shades. I mean, should you get prescription sunglasses? probably. Should you spend that much on them? I wouldn't, but I usually get generic frames so...

You could be my apprentice.

But I joined a golf club recently so I'm gonna spend a lot more time outdoors and my eyesight got worse since I bought my old sunglasses.

Yea, get the new prescription.
It's a pain in the ass to switch between them, but it's worth it.
and like, they usually cover your entire field of vision unlike regular glasses so they are extremely practical

and then all those people who mistook me for a female would then retroactively be correct in their pronunciation!
