I totally get that distaste from playing co op games for the first time with people who've played the level before, especially when they're the type to constantly instruct you how to get past stuff instead of just letting you figure it out
But there are other people who'd enjoy going more methodically with ya, as unlikely as those people may seem when matching with randoms

So i should get this game? Anyone playing on xbox?
Much more methodical. You don't have the luxury of a bunch of other folks to cooperate with or distract the guards when things go nuts. So it's much more of a traditional stealth game.
To be honest, what few multiplayer games I was in kinda sucked.
I hate having to rush through this stuff, and of course other people who have done it before are not going to take their time, so I'm basically forced to rush along just to be useful, which is just very uncomfortable.
Seems like doing this in a hurry is kind of the opposite of how I like to play these kind of games, so multiplayer is more or less out of the question for me, for the most part.
I will play this with you when I get it. It seems we would play this in a similar matter, slow and methodical.

The multiplayer games i have been in have usually started crappy, but a mission in and people are used to their characters and suddenly we are cleaning out all the levels. I love this game and I love this anonymous multiplayer, I have yet to have a bad multiplayer game.
Everyone is friendly, no rage quits, everyone is helping each other out, no excessive shouting on the mic. Maybe I am just lucky but this multiplayer game gives me some hope for humanity. I have beat the game with all multi and i still keep comming back to it.
I have noticed that most people play this game super chaotic runfest until the
2nd boat mission
then after that everyone slows down and gets more methodical in the remaining levels.

Spoiler regarding the end mission (if you're playing co-op don't open this, seriously).
Does anyone else find the PVP in epilogue like super fun? All the weapons seem pretty balanced, there's a reason to rush (for coins to grant ammo) and to take it slow (so you can ambush people due to seeing their footsteps).
Like, if they sold me a DLC for a few quid that featured more PVP maps that maybe had multiple exits (because car pile ups are sillies), some way of working NPC's into it and options that allow you to reduce the accuracy of the 'trophy pings' I'd buy it pretty damn fast

Sometimes I'll give a suggestoin or two if I think it's best for everyone. Especially if its someone new who doesn't know what to do.
Like all "Okay wait here, lemme gentleman my way in."

Oh for sure, you don't wanna let the new guy bumble through without any help, especially when certain players can be better suited for particular situations or when you're showing em some ideas for later
Curious but in the Gentlemans mission is there something specific you can do with the Piano? I realise you can play music on it but I was wondering if there's anything else to it considering each player seems to play a different tune.

When you say bandaid is the worst item in the game you do realize it can instantly revive fallen allies right? Because otherwise there are times where it's just impossible to get people back up.

Generally speaking, "this is good when you have fucked up" makes for a bad thing. I'd rather have something that prevents me from dying in the first place.
The final level of the Pickpocket's story is kind of amazing.
Instead of playing The Gentleman and his buddies killing each other, you play the other four, breaking out of prison after Gentleman threw them under the bus.
Except now, all four of them have the powers of one of the other four classes from his crew, in addition to their own.
You've got Locksmith/Mole, Pickpocket/Gentleman, Lookout/Redhead, and Cleaner/Hacker.
Also, now that I've done literally every level, I know the designs well enough to move pretty quickly.
As Gentleman, it's hilariously easy to dash around and never get caught, on most stages.
Also, I've gotten all the trophies for each level except Pearls Before Swine.

What are you talking about? There are plenty of items that prevent you from dying.
Smoke Bombs get out of sight, EMPs turn off security and give you an opening, and TNT has similar uses albeit being way more destructive, the wrench can make sure you get into a bush before you get spotted or get past that locked door just in time to avoid that guard patrol, and of course guns get guys out of your way would might otherwise kill you.
In a game with up to four people, and especially given how challenging some of the levels are in game, there will inevitably be deaths, and some of them will happen in really stupid places that require a stupid level of effort to mount a rescue. The bandage was pretty much designed for exactly that, so I don't see why there's anything bad about it at all.
I think there's no harm in having a band aid carrier in a 4 man group if you don't have a red-head for uber-revive speed. It helps unstick situations and the health buffer can be a good brute force tool as well.
I definitely agree it's likely the weakest tool you're given though.

It's definitely the least useful tool when things don't go to shit.
But I'd rather have it around and not need it, than need it and not have it.

That stage is poop from a butt.

I rarely get into that stuff, but with this game I cannot wait for anything new to play. I must have more.
Except for ten minutes.
God help us.
If you have a four-person group with a death-prone person, then just play the redhead.
It's definitely the least useful tool when things don't go to shit.
But I'd rather have it around and not need it, than need it and not have it.
My life is complete.
