Sam is one of my favorite girl's names. If I ever met a Samantha who didn't like to be called Sam I'd have a very large amount of real disappointment.

I feel like I've told this particular piece of ridiculousness before but if I had been born a boy (which until I was born they thought I was a boy, somehow? or at least that's what my mom told me) my name was going to be Rajah Alexander. Dodged a bullet there. Especially since I am the whitest white to ever white it up and when I was 9 Aladdin came out and I never would have lived that one down either.

Now I want to watch Aladdin, thanks a lot

I've asked but my parents didn't have a girl name for me. My mom said she "always knew she was going to have a boy," so they didn't think about it.

Except now she is convinced I should be named Isabelle.

    I don't know.

    Rajah...really?

Apparently their college professor/mentor/bff before I was born was named Rajah and they thought it would be a flattering tribute, which still doesn't excuse anything. Instead I ended up with Tatyana, which I think is a pretty nice name.

I don't think Professor Puzzles is new. Unless I dreamt of his coming. Which is ominous and strange.

No I'm not new, I haven't posted in over a year I think and even then I just posted in the doodle and snugglehuggle threads so I doubt I made any lasting memorable impression.

My name was to be Casey. Or some spelling thereof. In fact, the doctors and my parents were all about 99% sure I was a girl while she carried me, so they ONLY picked out girl names. I popped out with my bits on the outside instead and my dad, scrambling to think of a name, noticed two pictures, of two saints, on the wall.

    Saint Anthony, and Saint Christopher.

Hence, my name. Also, my initials, which are also a major ligament in the knee!

i had The Talk with someone i care really deeply about, and it went as terribly as it could have possibly gone

and now i guess i have another bridge to burn

It's thier loss. It's unfortunate that they are losing an awesome friend just becaut they would rather be a bigot.
I've discovered who my true friends and family are after coming out. We make our own families in this community.

Well this is my first Mother's Day.

It's weird that people are wishing me a happy Mother's Day. Not really weird so much as unexpected. But, as it was explained to me, I'm a lady who's helping to raise three kids, so that makes me a mom.

    Still, it's fucking weird.

Happy mother's day! (Insert inappropriate comment about you being a milf)

clearly you buy two apology cards, and then find the corresponding cards that apologize for the cards you just sent.

like "Sorry for what I said in the card about a death in the family."
