i hate trying to play MMOs with people who like MMOs more than I do.
friend tells me to catch up to his level 10 character, i hit level 9 "Oh i'm level 16 now, but i'm taking a break" so i hurry up, hit 15, tell him i'm close to 16, and then i talk to him later "Oh, i'm level 27 now."
I'm in the clear for hating this guy right now, right? Cause man, i kinda want to hit him.
I'm never that bad, but its largely why whenever I play with my brother, who tends to play infrequently, I make an alt specifically so I could level alongside him.
Though I wish more games did level scaling shenanigans like GW2.
I love the whole Professions through internet thing, though an app would be better then in browser. Still its great that while I'm at work I can just get all these ore and stuff
My GW fighter was getting his ass handed to him on the bridge. But part of that is that I'm not so great at MMOs. I still can't figure out how to run, and that whole shift+move to dodge is annoying.
The combat in this is kinda cool, I just wish the game didn't lock up or crash so often. I'm having a hard time making it through the city.
Went with the wizard and so far, admittedly only level 6, the only time I take damage is when I have to kill minions as well as something with a real health bar. And even then, if that ice field spell is up that is optional as well.

melding and I are like MMO twins. I usually play free MMOs now so I can quit when I can't solo anymore, or play something with a sidekick system or the like.
i do everything in my power to not play mmos solo. i'm willing to catch up a few levels by myself but when you're in the mid to high twenties and i'm at level 15, you can to hell, i'm not catching up.
I'm rotating back to midnight this weekend. So to get back in the sleep schedule I'll be up all night tonight. I've got a 6 cleric or a lvl 1 anything if people want to team up and run around
After playing SWTOR since launch off and on, I've been trying this game out. It's ... pretty fun!
I've only played a guardian fighter, but actually having a button dedicated to holding a shield is fun, that's something I've not seen in an MMO before? Not that I'm experienced with them. Is Leadership more or less just a making EXP profession? Is there any reason not to try and level every profession?
Also, how fun is cleric? I'm torn between it and wizard as my second class. Or Thief. Or... if they ever add Bards...
I am liking cleric. if you know what you are doing you can do dps, aoe, and healing all fairly well at the same time. In group events i'm usually middle of the road damage and kills, but right at the top of healing.
Wizard i haven't gotten very far with yet, and I want to buy more character slots but that is not an option yet.

Or if you play Great Weapon Fighter, you take all the damage but don't give a fuck.
Because you are hitting a dude with a big-ass sword that steals their life.

My GW fighter is only level 4, and I probably won't play him again for a while just because of my hardware issues.

this mission is just a bunch of easily killed mobs that give high exp, loot and money

Yes hi, which quest is this?
which is good because as a rogue i can't do the stupid hulk farm missions
spencer look
this is literally how you play all videogames
you just go right for the good stuff while all these peasants flounder
i might roll up a wizard just to farm this
do you have Blitz yet
or Whirlwind of Blades

They are all rad.
best rogue daily is still Lurker's Assault so far, the other two feel so weak in comparison
