I don't understand quantum physics. Therefore quantum physics is stupid and made up.
Learn to develop suspension of disbelief.
Quantum physics is quite easy to understand, but when applied to character driven video games it diminishes the emotional stakes and inherent weight of what's happening.
The idea of alternate dimensions is used for nothing more than a twist, and basically the same twist at the end of Infinite. If the Lutece's are just fucking around in all these different realities while Booker is a pawn playing out the same fate again and again, I kind of stop giving a shit. Make a new story. Bioshock 2's DLC was brilliant. This is not.
I didn't make the game and I don't live close-enough to Irrational's offices to deliver your suggestions. Maybe one of the forumers still living in the Metro-Boston area can help though.
Also I think it's a real testament to the impact the first Bioshock had on me that
as soon as Sally screams MR. BUBBLES I went into total red alert mode and every nerve just lit up like a damn Christmas tree
I actually had that reaction a little bit earlier, upon seeing the last room with all the goodies laid about and the final objective I knew precisely what was going to happen
When Elizabeth was all
C'mon let's turn up the heat what are you doing come ooooooonnnnnn Booker let's go Jesus how long are you gonna make me wait let's start the barbecue already
I was a little annoyed
I gotta make my preparations, lady! I am sort of genre savvy, particularly when I see a whole bunch of suspicious item generosity thrown my way!

Sorry if this was brought up already, but did anyone notice that Booker woke up at the start of the dlc, sounding

like he had escaped drowning?
It would be an interesting dynamic to explore, but (ending spoilers)
I think it has been firmly established you were alt-Comstock and you hoped over to Rapture via a portal. Plus I am preeeeetty sure alt-Comstock is dead now.

Uh-oh I accidentally deleted my signature. Uh-oh!!
I mean good Christ do you guys see what this shit means
The pattern is broken, shattered, and Elizabeth is going through setting it right
The girl is gone, so Comstock didn't have Elizabeth with him, and was dropped into a world where there literally was no girl, which means that there's a whole continuum of realities outside of the ones affected by Elizabeth's killing of (all but one) Booker
The problem of Comstock is more endemic than what she was able to fix by killing off every iteration affecting or affected by her
WHAT THE HELL IS SHE GOING TO DO IN THE NEXT ONE THIS IS SO BALLER
Also a few things to note
When Booker is callin out to Sally, his speech patterns change, both midway through the DLC and at the end - he calls her "child" and "dear" and "girl", which isn't something Booker says, but is the kind of paternalistic nonsense Comstock defaults to constantly
And it explains why Booker is so much weaker in this - because he's pushing 70, or more
And it explains why Elizabeth is so constantly cold to him, refusing to call him Booker, why she doesn't care much when he gets the Hell beaten out of him, and why she isn't bothered by his discomfort when they dance
He stares into the baptismal fountain where Booker kills him in all those other worlds
This DLC was so cool

Yeah that was hells of telling when Elizabeth
refuses to call him Booker

not know what's up with the Little Sisters, calls the Air Grabber a Skyhook, and mutters "Constants and variables" afterwards. So it's pretty telling even early on that she knows more than she lets on.
we'll be playing as Elizabeth while she continues to clean up the multiverse from the taint of Comstock? That sounds baller!
She also seemed kind of cold when it came to the girl. You figure she was actually trying to save her or was the Little Sister just a way to bring Comstock to the surface?
I'm actually not clear on why Elizabeth is doing this
this version of Comstock, at the very least, is in no position to be the threat to the world that any of the other versions were
He's not on Columbia, has no followers, has no memory of any of that stuff
Elizabeth eliminating this one just seems like petty revenge

Well, this Elizabeth seems... Older. Like she's been doing this a while. Maybe spite is all she has for Comstocks like him.

Well, I mean
In this respect we can't know
That this timeline even exists is worth investigating, and knowing what kind of person Comstock is, it makes sense she would make sure he's not allowed to do what he do best
...even given that he would inevitably be killed during the fall of Rapture
That Elizabeth is going around and snuffing Comstock for time reason is clear, but the emotional content of her motivation isn't going to be clear until the second half

Well to be fair, the Booker we played killed her instead of kidnapped her.
Just downloaded Buried at Sea and then remembered a friend borrowed my copy of Infinite.
Fuck.
This is a problem I'm having, except I didn't tell my friend that they could borrow it, my brother asked me while I was asleep and I apparently replied 'yes', so when I asked him where my copy was yesterday he was like 'you probably dont remember but you let my friend borrow it'
You die quicker if you keep line of sight but there are tons of places to break line of sight, and enemies walk around in MGS-style patterns where you can pretty easily sneak up on them and break their skulls with your skyhook
You just have to be careful; if you're careful, it's not really any harder than the main game
Like every time Elizabeth would go "shhhh! Mr. DeWitt, splicers over there" I would go WHERE WHERE LEMME AT 'EM WHY I OUGHTA YOU LITTLE SO-AND-SO etc. and just start throwing Bucking Broncos like it was Christmas
Yeah, I played Infinite like I did a mass effect vanguard. I had a shotgun, the charge vigour and a melee button and I found it was all I really needed

To be fair, that wasn't purely Comstock's fault.
I mean, if you were wrestling with some other dude for your baby girl and the two of you ended up literally ripping her apart, wouldn't you be at fault for that, at least partially?

It also appears that she tried asking him nicely not to kidnap her first before resorting to killing his ass but he fucked that up nice and proper.

I have no idea, but
But man, hard mode in this shit don't fuck around.
I don't know if it's that I haven't played any FPSes in a while or what, but I spend a LOT of time desperately clubbin' motherfuckers
It's pretty fortunate that the clothing you get is stupidly powerful to make up for it
I got the vampiric one that would give you more EVE when enemies were killed while being affected by a Plasmid, and that saved my bacon a lot
Burial at Sea is some bullshit
Play it on Normal at best
