When it was announced that telekinesis would use the Havok physics, Elder Scrolls fans all over wet themselves over the prospect of having Half-Life gravity gun style hijinks. It's really a shame they didn't go with that.
I think my PC would slow to a crawl if you could throw enemies all over the place into all sorts of other objects etc.
Shivering Isles Spoiler
So I get back to the village which was overrun by Order KNights, after disabling the tower in the middle of town from underground.
And I kid you not there were literally 30-40 knights crowded around the last remaining invulnerable NPC who was feinting again and again. I popped invis (the brilliant spell from the DB quest line) and proceeded to pick em off from the top of one of the buildings with my bow.
Took like 200 arrows, and my PC was hitting like 5fps when I went in to loot.
Did end up with and endless supply of those hearts though.
Let's have a little looksee at the treasures decorating my Skingrad manor.
(Spoiler'd for lots of pics.)
Starting off, the dining room.
Here, we have some enchanted Elven artifacts, as well as some beautiful rings and an amulet.
This arrow is very special to me. It's called the Rose of Sithis. I'm afraid I can't tell you anything more about it- business, you understand.
Moving on to the main floor stairs...
Oh, I do so enjoy writing letters here.
This assortment of weapons I've collected while adventuring helps me write. I've also got a collection of glass daggers on the chest nearby, but I'm afraid I didn't get a picture of that.
Moving onto the second floor...
Ah, the raiment of the Arena Champion. Those were fun times.
And here's some Turpentine and a painter's apron. Once again, I'm afraid I can't go into detail.
Now, if you'll come with me to my room, please.
As you enter, you can see my spare set of glass armor sitting near my bureau. The rest of the armor are pieces I used to wear. Well, except for the Daedric helm. That's just for show.
A curiass from each of the towns that lost men in the defense of Blade's headquarters. You can also see a couple staffs I've received from Daedric princes. The items on top of the cabinet are... off-limits.
My desk. I do my writing downstairs, but I read here.
Pretty, aren't they? All flawless, I assure you.
I hope to fill these shelves soon, but sorting them is such a pain.
I have a mod that adds the display cases to the Skingrad house- everything else I really did collect during the game, and placed it all there manually, no placement mods or anything.
Also.. i turned the ::item:: into big head. But he just keeps it. How do I go about getting a usefull fork? Or can I even?
I had the fork before I activated the quest, and as soon as I gave it to him he snuck up and forked a guard. I retrieved the fork from his lifeless corpse. It's still a quest item, so it's weightless and I can't drop it. Still fun to use, though.

The placement issues are the only reason I haven't done this. Now, if I posted my screeens from Morrowind, you'd make fun of me.

God my Hlaalu house from Morrowind became a fucking impregnable fortress, you could get guards, outhouses, a barracks, a perimeter wall. Fucking A. I had a room in there with EVERYTHING displayed, like a thousand swords all in a row.
Must have spent about 20 hours just arranging this perfect museum. And this was the GOTY edition on the Xbox, where at any moment it could crash with disc read errors and wipe your save.

You guys are making me feel better about my OCD here. Thanks.
Soon as take new ones, I'll show the mueseum I have in my PMB.
I don't know, I killed the gatekeeper in a minute or less. I haven't met an opponent who can take away more than 1/4 of my life before I kill them.
Question: when something offers resistance to "magic," does that mean all of the elements (fire, cold, lightning, and whatever else there is)? Or does it just protect against some separate type of damage called simply magic damage (like Diablo 2)?
Any kind of damage caused by a spell or enchantment.
Like how Ive got a 100% magic resistance mage killing outfit that makes me invulnerable to magical attacks.
My friend prefers Spell Absorption but I rather like Spell Reflection. My character doesn't take too much damage anymore because he has very high Damage Reflection (melee) and Spell Reflection. I just tend to block a wee bit more and attack more aggressively since I tend to be less worried about enemies doing a lot of damage to me as they also do it to themselves most often.

That's pretty awesome DarkPrimus. Never had the patience for that. I'd always start off trying to arrange stuff, but would eventually get frustrated when it all mysteriously had fallen to the floor while I was out of the house. So I just ended up equipment-coordinating whatever storage was present in the house. 50 hours later it was learned that I didn't have as much stuff as remembered because houses had a cap on how many objects could exist in the map.
I have one thing to say after looking through the Youtube videos of the spells.
Holy shit.
If only Bethsoft had included even only a portion of these it would've made mages much more interesting to play. So much potential, but they just left it there. I especially love the objects floating around the player. Very much in keeping with the whole 'eccentric wizard using magic in daily life' thing.
edit: I'm positive there was a book placement mod that allowed easy/easier upright placing of books on bookshelves. Can't remember the name of it though.
edit2: That download link's broken. The TESSource one seem to work though.
The Assassin's Rush spell looks amazing and incredibly useful.
The "Warhammer of Power" thing looks fun as heck, would need a place with quite a few enemies (and some space) to fully enjoy it, but the "Become Sauron" potential is there.
I'm not sure about the spells that are coming close to being Final Fantasy, but otherwise it looks like it could be fun to try with a pure mage (haven't done one yet in Oblivion).

If anyone does know what this mod is, linkplz.
Link to videos of various spells in action!
Do it!

I really want to learn how to make my own stuff in the construction set.
That would rape computers.
I want to roll the entire Imperial City into the sea. That would rule.

I need a spell that calls down disco lights.

Not sure if the music is a part of the spell though. If so, that can probably be removed without too much hassle in the CS.
Edit: ahahaha, oh man, it even has smoke effects
Hand of God
Black Hole
Black Hole doesn't look as cool, but it does look like it'd be amazingly useful in a fight.
And level him for Normal, Nightmare, and Hell?
But give him cold immunity for Hell difficulty and watch everyone shit themselves in impotent rage.
I think I love you.

Me too. And I've yet to use Alchemy.
