Golf strips always make me excited to see another appearance of Hector, Gabe's hapless, elderly caddy.
The line quality of the strip indicates it was drawn on the Surface instead of the Cintiq. Hopefully Mike figures out how to achieve the same painterly effects on the Surface that he can achieve on larger tablets so it will feel like less of a compromise.

New plan: Penny Arcade keeps expanding their actual business operations. Then they relaunch the entire comic as a meta-comic about the staff that operates the business. They can take over PvP, liquidate all the PvP comic book staff, and replace them with the comic personas that inhabit the actual PA offices.
Yea, seriously. You shouldn't make a comic with cool Merch that doesn't exist, especially when it's for a charity! I tried to go find/buy one (Women's large please). Didn't exist.

So I had to create a forum account just to tell ya.
Looks like Khoo and his ringer were neck and neck with Mike's team. Not sure who won.
Edit: Looks like Khoo finally beat Mike.
I came here just looking for some results info so this was helpful. I had to leave the tourney early for an appointment so I was hungry to know who won. Anybody have any insight onto further details like Longest drive winner, etc?
Hi Forum! I'm with you on the sweatshirt. I told Brian - he made a face at me and said "Sweatshirts are expensive".
The winner of the side bet this year was Robert! His team went -4, Mike's ended up at -2. I think Jerry ended up around +12. No PA people actually placed in the top 3 teams OR made Longest Drive/Closest to the pin. The finals were:
1st: 18A with a score of 62. Elenbaas, Mann, Knapp and Richards.
2nd: 6A with a score of 64. McDonald, Kostol, Hanson, Choi
3rd: 1A with a score of 67. Benson, Bolt, Gilloolyu, Onetoo
Closest to Pin and Longest Drive both came from 6A - Choi was within 5'5" of the hole, Kostol drove 340 yards.
Next year we're adding a best dressed team competition, because there was some pretty fabulous argyle this year.
Hey Emi. None of the PA staff were in the top three. Team 6A (I think that was the number, my husband's team) took 2nd, One of their members was longest drive winner, another one of their members was closest to the pin. Sorry I can't remember all the numbers of the teams, anyone else?

I was wondering about that, too. At first I thought it was Annarchy. And then I felt really old.
Who is Jamie?
She's a PA Staff person. Organizes events like the charity dinner, and I assume the golf tourney.

I guess SHAME HOLE might be too many characters, don't know what the limit is in Washington state.
SHMHOLE.
SHAMHOL.
SHMEHOL.
I wish I was near Seattle. I would absolutely, positively play in the charity tournament.
Uh uh, her gaggy gave that to her.
It has a face on it .. I wonder if it was intentional.

Is there a thread for the Invitational?
