right now i'm 4sdddd until forever, dont even build units until they move out, if its protoss I just 4sttt until infinity and they die
I'm still getting used to rallying my units places, cause you know.. dont gotta do that for protoss. Last game i thought i had a small ground army but i was maxed..
I actually had to look for 50 roaches that were awol. Then just a-move like a zerg does
Hmmm. There are screen recorders that can record mouse and keyboard actions. I wonder if you could record yourself doing a 12 min 200 food roach max BO and see how far it gets.

use that button that grabs your whole army. I made it ctrl+a for me
I find it useful, saves me probably 2 marines per game

select larvae
make units
ctrl+click eggs
shift+# to add them to your control group
That way when they spawn they are in your control group already and they run to meet you.
all these speedruns have been sick, mad I missed a bunch but what can you do. gonna try and be awake for Dark Souls, I've at least seen mario 64 a lot.
on starcraft: it is insane how wcs has divided the talent. it has generated rivalries in a way I didn't expect which is pretty sweet.
Darksouls can be done in, like, 45 minutes with pyromancy and a few shortcuts, IIRC.
I ended up missing it completely, except about 2 minutes when I woke up and saw a naked character running around undead
I wouldn't care if it was a 5 minute run or a 5 hour run, though, I just seriously love that game. even if I didn't love the mechanics and spirit of the whole thing, the atmosphere alone makes me want to watch runs of it.
but oops I slept foreeeeeeeeeeeeever
Dark Souls is a fantastic game, one of the best ever made.
I still haven't quite completed it because one of my brothers overwrote my save file when I let him try it.
At least my latest character has enjoyed a fairly successful career as a Darkmoon Blade, though; it's been fun to turn the tables on those damned Darkwraiths.
I made a game! Hotline Maui. Requires mouse and keyboard.
We heard and agree with feedback from many of you that a complete alignment on the 1v1 map pool across all 3 regions as well as ladder would be cool to try at least for 1 season to check if this direction is better.
We've been discussing with all of our partners on what exact maps to have next season and here's the current list we're thinking on.
3 New maps:
Yeonsu - new TL map contest map
Frost - new TL map contest map
Polar Night - new gsl map
Polar night has pretty much a straight line from natural to natural
I've been watching apollo's vids and the maps he was playing was were so small compared to the maps we have now. Even Neo Planet S was bigger than some of these maps. Its like Blizz really wants people to tech to a 4th base

Yep. On maps like Xel'naga caverns, you literally couldn't get a third without getting its shit pushed in. Now thirds are standard and with maps like Frost and Whirlwind, going to 4+ bases is much more common place.
@TwitchTV, @Youtube: master-level zerg ladder/customs, commentary, and random miscellany.
Collapsible Debris now displays properly for players that did not witness the tower collapse.
Fixed an issue that occasionally caused the game camera to pop after using drag scroll to disengage the follow unit feature.
Fixed an issue that could cause waypoint indicators to remain visible on burrowed or cloaked enemy units in certain situations.
Units can no longer walk up the edges of certain cliff intersections on the StarShip tileset.
Terran
Burrowing a Widow Mine can no longer cancel Graviton Beam.
The “[Player] no longer has any forces!” message is no longer displayed if the player still has Widow Mines.
Widow Mines no longer convert excess shield damage to hull damage against shielded targets affected by Corruption.
Flying a Command Center or Orbital Command over Mineral Fields no longer causes the worker counter in the observer leader board to change.
The SCV and MULE now share the same Repair command and will both repair when either unit is the subgroup priority.
Fixed a rare issue that could cause a Thor’s transit model to become stuck to a Medivac.
SCVs can no longer hold position in the center of a Vespene Geyser after being lifted by Graviton Beam.
Floating text now displays only the amount of minerals refunded after Salvaging a Bunker.
Protoss
Colossi that attack a revealed opponent’s structures no longer become visible for that opponent through the fog of war.
The Oracle’s Activate and Deactivate Pulsar Beam abilities can now be properly set to share the same hotkey using the Allow Toggle Conflicts option in the Hotkey menu.
Zerg
The Mutalisk’s Glave Wurm attack can no longer bounce to disguised enemy Changelings.
Locusts now properly follow waypoints set while they are eggs.
Thor morph animations are now paused rather than cancelled while under the effects of Abduct. The morph will resume once Abduct completes.
Fighter Mode Vikings that come under the effects of Abduct while transforming to Assault Mode are now properly classified as ground units once transformation completes.
Siege Tanks on Creep and in Siege Mode that are Abducted to a lower cliff level that is covered with Creep no longer become completely covered by Creep textures.
An attack alert is now properly triggered when Abduct is used on targets that are off screen.
Air units that are Abducted across flight pathing blockers over different terrain levels can no longer pop to incorrect height levels.
Fixed an issue in which workers under the effects of Neural Parasite could cause issues with the worker count when used to harvest Vespene Gas.
It is now possible to modify the Overlord’s Stop Generate Creep ability hotkey.
I see nothing important there; just lots of bug fixes.

The most important things are UI changes: color blind mode, more custom observer UIs, and the ability for observers to be able to mega-zoom ala Gameheart.

happy for new maps
wish derelict and whirlwind were gone, I kinda liked neo planet s. glad belshir survived, prob my best map.
You missed all the cool juicy stuff in the update!
General
-A notification message is now broadcast to every player in the game when a player, spectator, or referee changes the game speed.
-Destructible rocks now appear on the minimap. -Icon art for all three Protoss Ground Weapon upgrade levels have been updated to make them more visually distinct.
Battle.net
-A “Ladder Maps” option has been added to the Browse dropdown menu in Custom Games. Selecting this option will filter the map list to display only the melee maps that are being used in the current season of the ladder. The map pool from each matchmaking queue can be displayed by selecting 1v1, 2v2, 3v3, or 4v4 from the “Category” dropdown menu.
-A Technology column has been added to the Score Summary tab on the Score Screen. -Fixed a rare issue that could cause a player’s MMR to decrease after winning a matchmaking game.
Collapsible Debris now displays properly for players that did not witness the tower collapse.
Fixed an issue that occasionally caused the game camera to pop after using drag scroll to disengage the follow unit feature.

its been a while since I looked at starcraft stuff, what happened with Gameheart? is it now the go to observer UI?
GameHeart was used for awhile in GSTL (i think) and a lot of people complained about silly shit like the supply/resources being at the bottom when it really just took me 3-4 games to get used to looking down there.
DreamHack still uses it for all of their tournaments, but I worry that Blizz copied to much from GH for it to be relevant after this patch

Polar Night:
Summary of removed maps:
(2) Neo Planet S
(2) Newkirk Precinct TE
(4) Red City LE
(4) Star Station
(4) Korhal Sky Island LE
You can thank me for voting in Frost from the TLMC (but not Yeonsu, I didn't vote for that >_<).

watching sc2l and code a !
def staying up for innovation this evening, should be on bnet for the next few hours.
Edit: Crank is just toying with sasquatch :P
the best was his reasoning for why my scout was bad was 'if you don't see an expo, it's a gas. no one expands in base in tvt'
and then when his scout arrived a few seconds later I questioned him and he said 'well 90%'
innovation is playing
Also I tuned in just in time for some silly GomTvT
