Hopefully includes the DLC, too. Or at least is made available. Tired of seeing games finally come to PC only to not make everything available.
The game, which hinted at a PC release on the Steam registry this past March, includes the regular game plus two add-on chapters (Reverie and Resurrection).
Knights of Pen and Paper +1 Edition is now up for pre-order. It was fun enough on mobile but I wonder if how much they're adding to this is going to make it worth $10.
Yeah - the mobile version, to me, at least, had a really hard early game where you couldn't afford to fill out your party or buy anything without serious grinding (and buying upgraded gear was actually a random roll with really bad odds until you upgraded the blacksmith a lot, which took even more gold) that pushed a little farther than I would like towards obnoxious IAPs.
The writing is pretty great, though, even with the occasional "This was badly translated from Portuguese" moment (or perhaps "even more so because of the occasional ..."). I love that it's a handheld roleplaying game played as a tabletop roleplaying game, complete with nonsensical fetch quests and "Here's an NPC; we attack!" moments.
I'm not sure I'd pay ... 5x? ... the handheld price for it again, though, even with the upgrades.

Retrovirus is 50% off, in what appears to be an unannounced week long sale on the game, lasting until June 10th.
This is a pretty neat Descent-like game. Environments are a bit repetitive but I like the aesthetics of the game regardless of that point. The nature of the art design minimizes that issue. As well as being one of the few modern 6DoF shooters around, it has some pretty interesting shooting and upgrade mechanics. Definitely worth a look for Descent fans. It's made by the same people who made the underrated but fun Sol Survivor tower defense game.

It does in fact have the DLC's
Though, as everyone in the Castlevania thread will tell you, that's not necessarily a positive.
Hey, it beats paying $20 extra (or however much) for them.
Most of the people who played the DLC feel the DLC actually detracted from the story. I only played about 1/3rd of the first DLC and didn't bother with the second.
But it'll be there in the PC version for everyone else to judge, so no one will ever be left wondering.
I already have Insecticide and SpaceChem, so if someone wants those keys from this bundle, let me know.
I picked it up just for The First Templar, which I'm sure horrifies some people.
I picked up another bundle just for Blade of Time...
The First Templar is well worth picking up the bundle for. Sure, the metacritic score isn't great on it. But the game was satisfying, with particularly fun combat mechanics, good graphics, and a story that was actually interesting enough to pursue.
Of course, I have also enjoyed what I played of Blades of Time, so yeah. There's that. :P

I thought it was fun from the unlocking diff classes as you progress, but the game was really short aside from the farming piece. The extra classes did not feel different enough to warrant a 3rd play through (assuming you unlock everything the first time through and use the new classes in the second play through)
Sang-Froid is good. The simplest way to describe it is a slower paced (but not in a bad way) Orcs Must Die. More about powerful enemies/traps/abilities rather than spammable types. You'll face more enemies in the first level of OMD2 than in the first quarter of the game. There are some metagame RPG elements where you buy equipment, level up a talent tree, etc that are fairly standard.
It does have drawbacks. It is clearly their first game, with glaring things like the story allowing you to choose 2 brothers to play as but offering no co-op. Voice acting sucks, and the storytelling is awkward, though it at least uses some unique elements.
I was gifted The First Templar. And it was worth every penny that @Icemopper spent on it!
Quit wembling over $5, for crying out loud. :P
Also and on that note... Primal Carnage needs to stop being on sale (for $5) because I don't need the freaking temptation. I've been resisting all week but the sale just keeps going!
If it was a $1 bundle, I'd totally grab it, for $5 for just The First Templar seems a bit much.
I'm pretty much of the same opinion, that and already having too many games means I'll probably not pick this up
I see a few people are playing Marvel Heroes and it looks quite good for the videos, is it as much like Marvel Alliance as it looks?
It actually plays a whole lot more like Diablo III injected with Marvel and a touch more MMO-ness.
ah, I'd have prefered more Marvel Alliance like gameplay but I've just seen it doesn't work with a controller, I'm downloading it anyway so I'll give it a go

I enjoyed the mobile version, kind of peeved that they came out with a patch just to inform folks that there's a PC version coming. I'm hoping they add some of the new content to the Android version, if so I'd be happy to throw 'em a few bucks when the Steam version eventually gets a daily.

@Corpekata is the only one on my friends list who owns it, everyone else has it wishlisted.
Tell me more. I adore Orcs Must Die.
Thanks! I resurrected the kitty, he says he owes you one.
I'm kind of in the same situation as Inksplat. I own every other game of note in that bundle, and the Templar may not be worth 5 bucks to me.
Maybe I'll see how many people don't have the other games.
Think I had them all beside that one too but given that I was going to buy it full price a few days ago, the bundle price was too good to pass up.

color me intrigued. cool premise for a sorta 3rd person tower defense

I can confirm this is an accurate depiction of the average Canadian day.
It should be called CanuckSimulator 2013.
