Everyone should play Spec Ops: The Line. Especially anyone who's played modern warfare shooter.

But understand that is one of the few M rated games to actually be mature. And its the single most fucking horrifying game I've ever played.

I just found out today that somebody made a Sonic Generations mod that takes all of the daytime levels of Sonic Unleashed (as in, the only good parts of Sonic Unleashed) and modded them into Generations:

I think that's pretty damn cool and I'd mention it in the Steam thread.

I just don't know if this counts as piracy or not (you need Generations to run it, so it's not exactly "free").

I sort of want to play D-Dog, but it looks like there is a great game there, buried under a pile of boring busy work. The big fights look brilliant, but nothing else looks much fun.

It's...okay. There are quite a few bugs, and the side-to-side movement often doesn't work as well as it needs to (the ice level and ocean level come to mind). It's an impressive feat, but I can't say it's particularly fun to play.

dragon's dogma is some really neat and cool stuff swaddled in a few layers of tedium and N64-era writing and open-world NPC interaction

It's not perfect, but then 3D Sonic is far from that to begin with (or maybe I'm just terrible with the games....no, it's them, not me). I still think it's a really impressive technical feat.

I'm just hoping they can somehow get Sonic Colors working next, because I'd love to play an HD version of that game.

I would say Generations is as close to mechanically perfect as you can get with a 3D Sonic game. Like, the mod is straight up broken in quite a few places.

I just finished Journey for the fourth time, and for the first time as a white robe. The person I played half the game with drew hearts in the snow as we walked towards the light at the end.
