If anything suicide proxy singed has proved one thing. If you're smart, you always win the lane. They make you farm at tower? Get farm, you're still singed. You're going to be tanky, you can do dmg, you can initiate.
So I played an ARAM today and got brand, a character I love. Back when I knew little, and was leveling up / a new 30, I was always touting how he was a legit mid, and loved him. Unfortunately now he isn't much of a lane bully as he used to be, and all he brings to the table is damage, so he doesn't get played and I stopped midding.
ARAM and he gets to be that little nuclear bomb again. It takes a little while to get going, and I'll probably change my start to a blasting wand/dorans next time. Once I got my DC though, they would underestimate my damage, and that led to kills and a liandry's. everyone is so bunched up W and R are murder machines. And with no B to heal, the passive adds a lot of Poke that actually hurts. Man I wish I could pick him all the time on that map lol.
Oh yes, ARAM Brand...
I really can't imagine having fun with him in an SR game, honestly, but he's ridiculously good here.

I like Sona, Thresh, Volibear, and Janna the most (with some dabbling in Lulu). I'm good at harassing the enemy team, not so good at grabbing kills. I MOSTLY play aram but I'm trying to get int summoner's rift again every now and then. Any recommendations for someone fun to buy?

Yorick. He's good at that sort of thing, and with an ADC who gets farmed, he locks down games pretty well.
I should really just exclusively play Xin my whole way out of Bronze
On the rare occasion where I can't carry the whole team with him I can at least enable them to make a go of it
Xin's great, I played him almost exclusively up to Gold this season, before I stopped bothering with ranked. Still really solid, but probably a little outclassed these days, his nerfs were pretty severe.

Welp, finally lost a game to suicide proxy Singed. Although it was more the enemy team won in spite of suicide proxy Singed really...
Dominated him for the first 20 minutes head to head, but unfortunately the rest of my team was, shall we say, not doing so well. When I had to head down to help out in fights, Singed got back in the game and eventually vaguely started being relevant again.
People tried to trade and it didn't work so we had smiteless jungle amumu and lane Ez with smite.
Plus I was against a Zed and Thresh. I want to find whoever thought giving an AD deathcap innately to a champion was a good idea and punch them. Never mind Thresh.

Talking of special builds, I had a Shen who decided to forego Randuin's vs Irelia until after Sunfire Cape and Warmog's... in the same game as a double gp5 jungle Diana without SotSW.
Nothing wrong with Mogs/Sunfire before Randuin's on Shen against Irelia. The armor on the Randuin's is basically wasted against her because her true damage is all that matters, and Warmog's counters true damage better, and not getting Sunfire 1st or 2nd on Shen just sucks ass because you can't wave clear/split push worth a crap until you have it.
So first ranked game in a while. Been taking a bit of a break because I dunno.
First thing I see? A duo asking for their positions because 'UNDEFEATED YO' but the rest of the team was cool and it basically boiled down to, 'Sure, why not.'

2/1/21 ZAC ftw. I think the rest of my team had like.. 7+ deaths. I only died at the very beginning to a really, really delayed invade that got me right on the tail end of grabbing my blue. After that it was just on like Donkey Kong.
Mid-game. Enemy Irelia top is 0/5. I'm 7/2/2 or somesuch. But I'm being shit on in chat by the ADC because I picked Taric. The Taric that has 3 levels and 7 kills over their top lane.
And we lose the game because the rest of the team won't listen to LB and me to ever push our advantage and group the fuck up and just finish the game down mid.
No. They stall the game for 15mins and let Irelia get endgame fed off of everyone except me and LB and let TF backdoor our base because they don't ever read chat or listen to pings.
And it's all my fault because I picked Taric, though I have twice as many kills as our adc and 20 something assists.

I'm going to solve all my problems with this bullshit I have to deal with and the mountain grind of more -LP on losses than + on wins by 50-100%.
I'm going to fucking quit ranked till next season and only ever duo queue.
I'm done.

Time to play console/steam games instead and the occasional PA 5man.
Also, I so wish there was an option to disable teamchat. I always end up playing bots on weekends, not because people is too hard for me, but because there is so much ragekid running rampant.
It's weird though. I wouldn't automatically say the weekend ranked matches are lower skill, it's more that they're much more volatile emotionally. Like people go on tilt and get butt hurt over role calling and stuff.
During the week everyone just seems to be a safer more well rounded player.
Yeah. Anecdotally it seems like there's a common combination of increased recklessness and players getting angry at their own team, which means things can go badly wrong very quickly.
I chalk it up to more players being drunk on the weekend.
I recall a few people on reddit and GD who kept track of games with ragers/leavers/trolls and such and found it a clear relation to quality of games vs when schools start getting out for the day.
I'm not going to say its all little kids, but fuck I hate little kids.

usually I don't second guess people but just this once I'm kinda completely and utterly lost as to the thought process.
It is! When you get to the point where two games, at the most, get you a reroll, it makes ARAM a heck of a lot smoother.

We actually did fine early/mid.
I basically triaged bot because fuck if I'm ganking an Ez so I got kills mid and top and got a decently early party hat.
Then because it's Bronze II rather than 1 pull, win Blitz and Graves were more of the fan of 'walk in, lose'.
Oh well.
EDIT: On the plus side it's currently +30LP for a win and -20LP for a loss in my division. So apparently the system is impressed.
