So am I alone in not being able to preorder Warframe from the PSN website?
I had no problems using the web store, but that was the day the put them up.
Has anyone seen or heard any information on any games using 3D at all? The reason I ask is most FPSs make me a little woozy, but playing Resistance 3 in 3D I was fine, not to mention that Resogun would be really cool in 3D (I don't believe Resogun is in 3D to start, might be patched in).

Why do they want you to pre-order Warframe at all? It's a free to play game. What does pre-ordering even mean in this context?
I honestly have no idea what that port is... maybe its what the PS Eye, which was originally supposed to be a pack in with the PS4, plugs into?
That is indeed what it's for. Some people are claiming it's basically a USB3 port with a weird connector, but I don't know how they know that nor do I think you could expect to see an adapter to make an actual USB3 port out of it, so it's a moot point.

Probably hoping for the other way around - an easy way to adapt the Eye to USB3 for use on PCs.

I mean why label it AUX if it wasnt an extra or alternate port... and it certainly does LOOK like a usb port

Its absolutely not a USB port - it's a thicker tab with two raised metal pins on the left and right.
The tech behind it may be USB, but the layout is designed so that you cannot plug other USB things into it. It also may have more (or differently regulated) power running through it than traditional USB allows for, to match the needs of the eye.

Let's play Mario Kart or something...
Ugh that means for me to hook up the Camera I gotta wait for Monoprice to create a 30 foot extension with that proprietary port. I was hoping it was just USB so I could use my existing Kinect cable.

Are there any mindblowing PS4 game screens or videos out there to sell me on this thing? I haven't really been paying attention.

The mind blowing stuff is really more of the upcoming stuff, but, like most of us here, I am a enthusiast and would like to have it at launch. AC4 is pretty nifty though.

Hmmm impressive, but clearly the leap from PS3 to PS4 is not quite what it was from PS2 to PS3, or even PS1 to PS2. I suspect it will only get better though, as devs get a better handle on the hardware.
'Even' PS1 to PS2? That was probably the biggest graphical leap we'll ever have.
And yeah, they'll get a lot better, just look at 360/PS3 launch titles and compare them to TLoU, Beyond and GoW3. I can't wait to see what Naughty Dog and Sony Santa Monica can pull off with the PS4.

Same. After seeing what [email protected] managed with in game graphics of The Order, I really want to see a new Uncharted on PS4. And Infamous Second Sun just looks fucking rad.

Cory Barlogs back at Santa Monica, I remember him saying something about putting together a team for some huge title, "Oceans 11 style". And apparently Battlestar Galactica writer Michael Angeli has been working for two years on a game with them, so I'm guessing the two are the same.

Nope, there's three major teams at Sony Santa Monica (and a number of smaller ones that assist second party teams like Ready at Dawn). One is headed by Todd Papy (God of War Ascension), who will probably continue working on the GoW series. Stig (God of War 3) is heading the second team, who have been working on a new IP for a few years now and that's what Angeli has apparently been working on. And the third is headed by Cory Barlog (God of War 2), who only just returned to Sony and is in the process of creating his own team, so it'll be years before we see anything from them (though it's safe to say it'll be a new IP).
Pretty interesting thread at GAF where some members compiled the full list of digital-only titles releasing for both upcoming in total through "Spring 2014"
I posted this in another thread, but I thought it'd be interesting to look at all the digital titles releasing from launch through Spring 2014 ("Early 2014"). This list obviously does not have titles that are early in development (Volume, Cosmic Star Heroine, etc.) or retail titles which will also have digital releases. I went ahead and included F2P versions of games that will also have retail releases (DriveClub and Killer Instinct)..
Note: ALL retail releases are getting digital releases on both XB1 and PS4. They are not included on these lists.

I think when they say 'putting a team together for some huge game, Oceans 11 style' they mean they're putting together a team of their best people to work on it, like Ubisoft did when they cherrypicked their teams for the guys behind Watchdogs. Like Oceans 11 was a group of the best guys for the job with the appropriate amount of funding to do it.

24 FULL DAYS LEFT AND COUNTING!
how about a little Debug PS4 unboxing video?
No need to be able to understand german... just watch!
It's a screw, I posted it on the previous page with a link to the site that actually took it. And they didn't take the PS4 apart, they replaced the HDD.
The more I see of AC4, the more I want to get it for the PS4. I have no interest in rebeefing up my PC to experience the game and it seems like a perfect 3rd party game to test out what folks have been doing with these kits.

They should turn those into a pair of cufflinks or something. Go all in on the nerdism!
Does Killzone have a continuous story? I've never played them and I'm not sure I want to, except maybe the new one. Thoughts about jumping in at the end?

It gets you a pack of bonus stuff they are giving you if you pre-order that you won't get if you don't pre-order.
- 20,000 Credits to help upgrade your arsenal
- 50 Platinum to give you access to new Warframes, weapons and more
- Exclusive PS4 Braton Rifle skin
Just a note, I'm not seeing Warframe listed on the online store anymore, although it is in my purchase history.

I guess of course it isn't exclusively for the Eye, but that's the one known reason for its existence given so far.

Just...
Just gonna go ahead and leave these right here
People always seem to underestimate the generational jumps as not looking that much better
I've never quite understood why because every generation has looked substantially better than the previous one
By the end of the PS4 and One's lifespan we'll likely be posting screenshots of Uncharted 2 and chuckling at them
