Move your mouse like in Halo that only have left and right keyboard controls?

You know when you play Halo and the mouse moves your Warthog? Wouldn't it be awesome to have the same movement emulation for games like Rage, C&C renegades and other driving games?
Is pressing A and D for left and right putting your fingers into an early retirement from gaming?
If anyone has software that allows the mouse to output a key for the same duration as the mouse movement strnegth in a certain direction, please, please list the software!
Imagine, you move your mouse left about 1/2" and you move 1' to the left in the game instead of having to press A. Maybe you want to move a LITTLE to the right in game. Then you would move your mouse 1/4" to the right and in game you move 1/2'.
Maybe it could be made to be toggled to be on all the time until toggled off (like in racing games) or turned on only when a key is pressed.
Am I asking too much?
