    That looks rad as hell.

God damnit, now I have to buy it. Looks like I'll be getting a Wii U next month.

How will the second player work? With drawing the weapon and things? Or is it just "this is your weapon, go nuts". do we know if they can use the nunchuk?

Apparently you do it with the analogue control stick. I read a few comments from E3 saying it was a bit difficult to do... but I'm willing to put that down to people picking up the game for the first time.

Having attuned myself to Okami on the Wii, I probably wouldn't mind a Wii-mote control method.

    Sounds crazy. Oh well.

I received and started playing Lego city last night and holy SHIT this game is good. Massive, crazy, fun. I'm all about this.

Man, Japan keeps getting good VC games. They need to release some of that stuff here, rather than <insert random crappy NES title no one cares about here>.

Speaking of game's where you draw things, Kamiya, and the Wii U: where is Okami HD for the Wii U? Celestial Brush on a drawing pad is such an obvious match that I feel redundant even saying it.

First Okami did pretty crummy numbers, so probably nowhere :P Although I guess they had enough faith in the franchise to make a DS game

They also had enough faith to make Okami HD on the PS3. And to use Amaterasu and Yami in [x] vs Capcon games.

Okami feels like one of those games that everyone's heard of but no one's played/owned.

... Hell, I have the Wii version and I haven't played it yet. Then again, I also never got the replacement cover Capcom offered me.

I started replaying it last week. Still great, and I wish I'd known about it when new copies were still being sold. I'd buy a Wii U port day one.

I reckon if Wonderful 101 goes level by level, we may get 100 levels, and then a crazy unlockable one to un-round it out. And I guess there'll be medals as well.

Lego City is almost a system seller if they had advertised it right. Everyone who plays/watches in my house immediately falls in love. The jokes and references are well done and the first time people get a video call on the gamepad they can't help but smile. It's one of those rare games that as much fun to watch as it is to play and I really hope Nintendo puts up the cash to get another installment of it.

I was frustrated until I found out about the straight-line tool. Then no longer, except for the occasional screwed up circle.

In fact, my second play through has proved to me that I have enough practice to do even tricky stuff like the fire burst infinity symbol with ease. Biggest issue is that actual conbat gets a bit tiring.

But this is why the Wii U is a perfect venue. It would be far easier and more accurate than the Wiimote or PS2 analog sticks.

man, the second I started playing Okami, I couldn't put it down .... I played that game so much I accumulated the move where you literally cock your leg and piss on the villians.

I only recall having a problem with one brush stroke with the wii, but I can't remember for the life of me which one it was.

I think I may have to replay it soon.

That's... I thought everyone knew that was the trick with all the GnG games? That you had to beat it once, then beat it again for realsies?

I wasn't certain there was a way to beat the game. A harder mode seems silly to me given how ridiculous the games are. It does make me feel better for choosing to never buy them on the VC though.

Nope. If memory serves me correctly, there's a hidden special item that will allow you to proceed to the true final boss fight, but you can only obtain it on the second runthrough.

Keep in mind that GnG started as an arcade game, so this kinda bullshittery is expected.
