Letting it go after this post, but I'm confused as to how that can simultaneously be a terrible idea that produces no useful information and so dangerous to village specials that it requires a post warning them against my insidious plan.
E: I see, at second look, that Mikey may have no choice about caps-lock. Also I suspect my RNG grudge is going to be yet more heartfelt after this game.
I think that lately the village has lost an awful lot of games to playing it safe and sound poorly, and I enjoy trying to find ways to get off that path.

Possibly not that safe. I recognize my character from a game I played in, and I started Phalla-ing in November.
Mine is of similar vintage, which is still before my time but not most of yours. I know I suggested one truly ancient one from an archived game I flipped through, though, and who knows what others might have nominated.

Is there any reason to assume the mafia does not have roles similar to villager roles that come from a variety of phallas? Like are we expecting all the mafia to come from one phalla or something? I find that a little unlikely.
Indeed, the OP has little to no flavor information whatsoever, and there is no day one narration, so any idea that we can soft confirm anything merely by knowing what phalla they come from or even what character they are involves a series of dangerous assumptions. It would hardly be unusual for a character who was village in one phalla to become mafia in another, for example. This applies not only to plans like Auralynx's but also to any networking you are doing.
How safe of an assumption is it that most of these characters were in games from before i started about a year ago?

I would assume that if the role a person is given was mafia in the game they are pulled from, they are likely to be mafia in this one.
At least, that's what I'm hoping.
