All three trees have damage-reduction, melee-damage and either health or Fight For Your Life-stuff. You can't go wrong.
Yeah, but Mania's probably the best tree to go down first, since it gives you a good base to work with before you go and start making awesome with Hellborn or Bloodshed.
I went with mania first for my newbie krieg and found it kinda lacking actually. Probably to do the most that Light the Fuse sucked ass imo. The dynamite sticks did ~150 dmg at best and I think the taliban explosion did somewhere around 900, not even enough to take down normal enemies with 1/3 health at lvl 20 :[
Light the Fuse isn't a DPS ability. Guns will do more damage in FFYL than the dynamite will do. Light the Fuse is used in tandem with his get someone else up ability so that if you're in trouble you can get someone else up instantly and then both of you can run into cover and they can revive you in a safe place.
That said, if you stack explosive damage I am sure you could just dynamite to victory. Just start hucking grenades if it looks like things are going to go south.
i found light the fuse alright early on, but i was using a crunch mod and strip the flesh
mania's clearly the best tree to start out with though; bloodlust's bonuses are negligible at first, and putting your first five points into hellborn are an out and out detriment
you really need to be able to fill those trees out before they become useful
There's also Gaige the Mechromancer and Creature Slaughterdome. I don't personally have the creature slaughterdome but I understand it's good for farming a certain quest in UVHM.
Getting a decent shotgun has enhanced my enjoyment of Krieg substantially.
I'm still kinda early in the game, but I don't believe they exist. I don't think I've seen one shotty with a >8-magazine on getting three characters to 20 and "consume 2 bullets per shot" seems mandatory, if not 3 bullets. Being able to shoot 5 times seem to be some kind of end-game stat.

Chronologically in terms of release it's Main game>Scarlet>Mr Torgue>Big Game Hunt>Tiny Tina.
I haven't played Tiny Tina though, so I don't know if that fits anywhere specific, story wise.
The DLC order feels also what should be everything in Chrono Order. Tina has to be the final one if the stinger is a hint towards the next season of DLC
My question is who they will attribute each DLC too like they did in BL2 with the originals
In my head the cannon heroes are...
Scarlet - Axton
Torgue - Salvador
Hammerlock - Zer0
Tina - Doesn't matter had RPs. But lets go with Brick's Siren (Maya) who is the prettiest!

So I'm fighting my way up the foot of the keep in the Tiny Tina DLC, and I'm caught in the middle of a great battle between the forces of orcs and men. Krieg's wading hip-deep through the dead, cleaving people apart left and right. My screen is a goddamn mess of green numbers from my caustic SMG and orange numbers from my Flame of the Firehawk, which is BOOM BOOM BOOMING every second. My controller is about to shake out of my hands. The game itself slows down a little, and the 360 is chugging, because its trying to render all the explosions and screams. Even though the only thing I can see are multi-colored numbers, I can barely even make them out, because I keep slamming myself in the fucking face with my axe, so everything's all white and blurry.
My wife walks in and she's like, "... can you even tell what you're doing?"
"No, but I know that I'm winning."
"Ach! It was like Cuchulain's wedding!"
(PSN: Morninglord) (Steam: Morninglord) (WiiU: Morninglord22) I like to record and toss up a lot of random gaming videos here.

Gaige is a really easy start. For the time you only have the basic action-skill, she's probably ahead of the pack in slaughter/minute. Basically, easy modo.
She's so short, it's harder to loot some containers, though.

only a few shotguns will spawn with >8 magazine size and 1 bullet per shot. hyperion/bandit manufacture with hyperion/tediore barrels.
that being said, torgue shotguns are amazing, and i like hyperion shotties as well.
I don't like tediore weapons because I am a compulsive reloader. I tried to use a tediore plasma caster once and train myself out of my early reloading ways, but all I did was waste a depressing amount of ammo.

Same here, long hours of training at coin-op shooters and other games of this ilk have me reloading nearly every bullet and especially under hard cover where I also get to rebound a Tediore directly into my face.

Started a new character and got some orange grenade mod from Boom Bewm. It splits into ten grenades, and then those split into more grenades. I'm so entertained by it, I'll be really sad when I find something better.
I normally find shit tons of SMG ammo. Then yesterday I was playing Krieg, who uses all close range shit and no long range shit and wouldn't you know it?
Every single container suddenly has sniper rifle ammo. Like magic.

Damnit, I was hoping the Krieg pack would be cheaper than it is. I shoulda hopped on that $5 Amazon deal. Oh well. Picked that up along with creature slaughter dome, purely for easier midget farming.

Are you talking Steam? It was a vote sale yesterday and everything was 66% off. Krieg was <$3.50 I figure that will be a daily or flash again before the sale is over.

Both Boom and Bewm can drop it, so apparently when the one you have gets old you can farm a new one relatively easily. If you like.
Wouldn't I have to wait till True Ultimate Mega Super Vault Hunter Mode Turbo FX GX to get one that is higher leveled?
True Vault Hunter Mode ie: second play. Yes. It will be sooner than you think. And the legendary mirv grenade will last you most of the way through p1 unless you luck upon another really outstanding grenade mod.

Like right now.
(It figures I happen to idly consider getting Krieg and then suddenly 60% off... damn you Steam!)

but yeah, the shield recharge delay increase skills are something you'll again want to hold off on until you can take advantage
Also, anyone just get BL2 for the first time today and want a buddy to play with? I'll roll a new character, and we can be BL2 BFF's!

Wait, what?
This is the one I got

It's fairly decent.
"Ach! It was like Cuchulain's wedding!"
They allude in Dialogue who did what DLC in the original game in BL2. They flat out say that it was Mordicai that won Moxxi's arena for example
She's so short, it's harder to loot some containers, though.
It's goddamned hilarious.
Has Zombie Island been confirmed as cannon?

Not as such. Consider it like Tinas dlc. A story that uses the vault hunters but with no bearing in reality

Only if you're not using an SMG in my experience.
