Damnit, I was hoping the Krieg pack would be cheaper than it is. I shoulda hopped on that $5 Amazon deal. Oh well. Picked that up along with creature slaughter dome, purely for easier midget farming.
Are you talking Steam? It was a vote sale yesterday and everything was 66% off. Krieg was <$3.50 I figure that will be a daily or flash again before the sale is over.
Yeah, I missed buying the Mechnomancer yesterday and now it's 33% off. I'm going to hold off in case it pops again.
Bullymongs are dicks. As a concerned citizen, I'll go axe them some questions.
They're really fun to fight in vehicles though. If they pick up something large to throw, just ram them and they drop it and flail around on the ground for a while.
Does loot only scale in uvhm? My krieg is 30 something and I decided last might to clear out old stuff before switching to tvhm. So I get flame of the firehawk and as you would imagine the 50 shield or whatever it was...not thrilling.
quest rewards are a pain in the ass to get at the appropriate level
the quest will tie itself to your level whenever you accept it - and then scale the reward to that level. so the shield you got is probably super low level for you because you accepted the quest a long time ago
It's the steam summer sale. The BL2 sale yesterday was from winning a community vote.
It's pretty much guaranteed to be a daily (48 hour sale). But if not, it'll definitely be up for another flash sale.
I say this because I wanted Krieg but had a long work day and missed that sale. And I really want it to be true. (It'll probably come back up on the last day recap too, Borderlands has historically done that for many of the big sale events.)

That's what I currently use. My Krieg's like 57. I'm waiting until I hit 61 to do the quest again. The level 50 version I have bursts for around 63k every second. Its not a phenomenal amount of damage against level 57-58 enemies, but it keeps me alive, and that's really all I care about right now.
I do know that once you complete the main story quest in TVHM it pushes all the remaining quests to level 50. Therefore any quest reward items which you want to use in UVHM should be saved for after you defeat Jack. This means be smart about picking up side quests. Don't just grab everything when it first appears. You'll wind up with like 12 quests at the same time, and you can't possibly complete them all without most of them being far outleveled by the time you get to them.
i'm farming legendary loot midgets. here's a list of loot i don't care about but you might! msg me if you want any of them otherwise i'll offer them up to the altar or something
yeah pc

I refuse to fight Mercy on principle since his loot table is broken on TVHM and UVHM to where his chance to drop Infinity pistols drop to near negative values.

relevant vid - his hp shoots up so fast he could face tank the world
From what I remember of Doc Mercy, you should explicitly avoid using grenades because every time you throw one at him, he will throw a homing transfusion at you and restore more hp than he lost.

I got the BL itch.
But.
I'm having so much fun in coop. I'm not sure I want to play by myself. And I don't want to outlevel or out quest the person I'm cooping with.
It is a dilemma.
I had the most amazing moments today.
Personal highlight: activating berserk, sprinting up the stairs to a turret that was pinning both of us down and punching the operator out of his seat. Because I had an incinerate artifact, my punch caused an explosion.
Secondary personal highlight: punching on a badass bruiser with incinerate and then suddenly realising that if I want to headshot him I have to actually aim up. Not many things are bigger than Brick. He went down super quick.
Third personal highlight: Sledge fight starts, I go berserk, I run straight at Sledge, I start punching. The screen is filled with overlapping incenerate explosions and I have no idea whats going on all I hear is screaming and laughing and Monger's gunfire and bullets and MOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOORE and then he dies before the berserk is over. The main reason why this is a highlight rather than standard operating procedure for Brick is because I happened to make the grandstanding, shit talking, psyching up comment prior to the fight "I'm going to beat the shit out of sledge" and then I went and fucking did it all in one go.
I love Brick.

Krieg's Barbarian class mod is really terrible. Like, bonuses to Blood Trance, Salt the Wound and Fire Fiend? How are those three skills related in any way? And they're all deep in their respective trees. Who the fuck would ever go Bloodlust to Blood Trance, Mania to Salt the Wound and then Hellborn to Fire Fiend?

berserk makes you run faster, too. there will be times when you'll be playing co-op and you'll want to just get where you're going faster and all your co-op partner will hear is
*doot doot doot, running along to the nearest whatever quest objective*
and you come screaming past just jabbing at the air and giving zero fucks
also: imagine playing co-op with 3 other bricks. all of you are using a different elemental artifact. the game has a high probability of breaking during battles.

I don't use health items at all anymore. If I'm low health and there's no enemies I just laugh for a while and cancel it by going to a menu when my health is full.
I crazy laugh to full health. I'm not sure I can fully articulate the sheer intensity of the emotion I experience when I do this without a photograph of my face at the time.

You guys remember my friends and I were having that issue where we couldn't join into games together if I was playing as Krieg? We thought it was a compatibility issue, so we all re-downloaded the packs, but that didn't work. As it turns out, I read that there's a similar issue with Mechromancers trying to join games when they have skins or heads equipped from DLC that everyone else is lacking. I was using some DLC stuff, so I equipped a different skin and head, and was actually able to join everyone with no problems.
So yeah, issue resolved. Just figured I'd post our solution here in case anyone else had the same thing happen to them.
Some letters and numbers are never used in shift-codes, huh? Plenty X, 6, S, C, Z and T, though.
Yeah, pretty sure you never see O anymore these days because it's too easy to confuse with 0.
Tri-Optimum reminds you that there are only one-hundred-sixty-three shopping days until Christmas. Just 1 extra work cycle twice a week will give you the spending money you need to make this holiday a very special one.
Does Maya have one tree that's better for leveling in the early levels? I'm currently level 8 on her. I didn't really know where to start so I picked the talent that makes Phaselock heal you if a dude is killed while being held. I can always reset her talents later. I just need a good leveling build.
Note: I'll be playing this character exclusively 2player co-op with an Axton.

lvl 54/57 homing storm fronts

lvl 53/57 legendary berserker class mod
literally a billion e-tech relics
Golden chest just gives me rocket launchers. And I can't put out enough damage to get through the Dam at 53.

Doc Mercy killed my GZ on TVHM like 9 times in a row. Sometimes this game is just bullshit, and it's infuriating.
I tend to abuse homing grenades against bosses like him. Just empty my whole bandolier.
Edit: Hah, I just used the duck-button to actually duck an attack, then I hit 'im in the groin.
