Have you seen super swimming? Or the OoT wrong warp? (OoT can be done in under 20 minutes...the current world record is 19:15). There are some crazy bugs in Zelda games.

The simple reason this stuff is found is that people with the tools to disseminate the games uses the tools out of curiosity or obsession, and then other people with the skill to understand the construction of the games when laid bare apply their skills and concoct "What If" scenarios until an anomaly is found. Another part is sheer trial and error when the tools or the skills are not available.
Some of these people are also quite the oddballs.
Alright and in this next scene all the animals have AIDS.
Just got home from Symphony of the Goddesses in Toronto.
Wonderful show this year. Glad they kept the Majora's Mask piece.
Their arrangement of the Ballad of the Goddess, incorporating the Farewell Theme, may have been the highlight of the night. Good God did Skyward Sword have some amazing music.

I've played enough Ocarina of Time to finish the Fire Temple in 10 minutes.
It's interesting how so many of the dungeons in that game have the boss room extremely close to the entrance. Like, in the Fire Temple, Volvagia is 2 rooms to the left of the entrance.
I think the dungeon with the boss furthest from the entrance is the Shadow Temple.
I would like to be able to pay a dollar to upgrade my Virtual Console versions of LttP and AoL to the Wii U versions, thank you and goodnight
Hopefully around the time A Link Between Worlds comes out we'll get LttP.

Oh yeah, I played Between Worlds at PAX and wanted to share some impressions with you guys.
1) It's not grid based you can zig zag and move in any direction you want.
2) The stamina meter is pretty limited. You can get off maybe 3 or 4 arrow shots before having to recharge, or roughly six seconds of "inter-dimensional Link" (Trademark pending.)
3) The first dungeon is pretty short. I was able to get from the start to the boss in the time the demo allotted me, about 12 minutes, I overheard the exhibitor bragging about how he did it in half that. Although it was a demo so they may have trimmed it a bit.
4) Items can be assigned to the touch screen like Ocarina of Time.
That's all I remember right now. If you guys have any other questions I can try to answer them.
What's your biggest criticism, and also your biggest praise?
My biggest issue with the game is it feels very "safe" I predict in three years no one will remember it well. On the other hand it's unabashedly Zelda and I had good fun in my time with it.
Again this is all just a demo, the game could very well turn out to be mind blowing.
I preordered in store using trade-in value of ps3 games i no longer needed.
But odd that they're doing this considering how limited the supply is. Not many people taking them up on it due to lack of interest or bastardisation of price?

Playing Zelda II, Link's Adventure, and I cannot find the silly lamp to progress to the first dungeon. If I go south or anywhere, my progress is blocked by caves I cannot get passed without the lamp/candle. Do I just need to keep lvl-ing up, or what? (First time playing the original Zelda series in its entirety as an adult.. Had an attack of nostalgia and got the virtual console editions of Zelda, Zelda 2 and Link's Awakening on my 3DS.)

It's inside the first dungeon
Okay! I'm off to quest for the lamp.. The last town I visited said they'd already got one, and they wouldn't let me see it...
The game is mean and makes you traverse a dark area without it. I'm not sure the reason for this as it isn't intuitive, but at the same time, it's at least the only one that's even remotely reasonable to traverse without it (assuming you are not like, an expert that has the enemy placements memorized :P). It's probably meant to show you the importance of the Candle in a relatively non-threatening way (there is only one enemy in there, and his shadow is easy to spot). It would make more sense if there weren't two other caves you could visit I guess :P
For us Canauckians, the limited edition with the Ganon statue is now up on ebgames.ca for 59.99
Get it while it last, shouldn't be long before its' gone.

Those caves in Zelda 2 just seemed to scream, "Get Out, unless you have the candle, fool!" And you seemingly have nowhere to go in the overworld until you get that candle.... Now I kinda miss all the hand-holding of the newer Zelda games...

Miyamoto actually called this out as one of his failures in design. He chalks it up to ambition outstripping technology, something that I think you get is abundantly clear in how hard it is to dodge and use your shield.
Alright, folks: starting now, be mindful when posting about Wind Waker. Some people will be playing the game for the first time and they probably won't appreciate being spoiled. There aren't a whole lot of "big" spoilers in Wind Waker - if you've played the game, you probably know what I'm talking about. Still, please use spoiler tags when talking about those things.

Pre-ordered my Wii U bundle on Amazon, and apparently it ships as early as Sept. 20th?! Uh, cool, I'll take it.
Yeah, what is up with that? Is the digital version just available sooner than the physical version? Or are they releasing the version with the Ganondorf figure later than every other copy?
Digital version comes out two weeks before the physical version.
Also, man, now I'm getting hyped. Two-ish weeks. It's coming!
And you know what I hate? People who are all like "Ooo I hope the next Zelda game has a villain that isn't Ganon, it's aaaaalways Ganon, la dee da"
Listen jerkbag
I haven't fought Ganondorf to the death since 2006. That's seven years now. The last time he was the main front and center villain of a game from the start was ten years ago
I know it's early to be looking ahead but man I hope that Ganon makes a glorious return in the next console installment

I think I have a problem.
Spirit temple is like 5 rooms

I'd rather have it on 3DS but Nintendo doesn't want my money.
Well, not all of it..
Since the 3rd is a holiday and Amazon usually ships a day early, I'm kinda hoping to get it on the 2nd.
