Wind Waker Ganondorf is my favorite Ganondorf, still can't decide my favorite Zelda though.
For me, the best Zelda is down to either Skyward Sword or Spirit Tracks, and it's not a close race
Twilight Princess Zelda is also really cool and underappreciated for what she is, but man, SS and ST
ST spoilers in particular:
Especially right at the end, when you're essentially guarding Zelda while she summons the boss-killing magic and boss-killing arrows, and then you stab the final boss in the face but you're not quite strong enough and then Zelda runs to you and both of you hold onto the sword and with your combined strength thrust it into his fucking skull
That moment of absolute equal importance and strength was perfectly constructed
Zelda's gotten a lot more active and bad-ass over the years, a trend that I hope continues

I forgot you can't cheat and warp to Death Mountain with the eyedrops. Stupid game. Least you can use the Sun Song to fake the 3 days for your Biggoron Sword.

It's too bad the train segments of Spirit Tracks were so awful that it became the only Zelda game I never finished.
I didn't like how the paths were set, the trains on the paths were awful, and the warp system was dogshit compared to all other zeldas in that the warps were specific 1 to 1 areas instead of just warping when you want. Honestly, it's the enemy trains that were the worst though.
Did we know that GameStop is offering free Zelda Oracle of Seasons with a pre-order of Link Between Worlds? I stopped in for a street pass and saw it advertised on the wall, so I put $5 down.
Is there another location offering Oracle of Ages free with pre-order?
Nintendo’s Eiji Aonuma is keeping quiet about the potential of a Majora’s Mask remake. In a recent interview with IGN, Aonuma laughed when asked if fans might see the game remade soon, purposefully leaving his answer open for interpretation.
“Please write that I laughed,” Aonuma told IGN in response (after, indeed, laughing). "Don’t make it sound like I laughed because I was troubled or inconvenienced or put out. I don’t want them to read anything into it. But if you want to say that I laughed, I think that would be a good answer."
When pressed about how fans should interpret that, Aonuma simply told us, “it’s really up to them. If they want to interpret my laughter as, ‘yeah, we’re making it’ or ‘no, we’re not,’ I guess that’s really up to them.”
Majora's Mask was first released on N64 in 2000 and last came to the Wii Virtual Console in 2009. Since Ocarina of Time was remade for 3DS in 2011, the idea of a new version of Majora’s Mask has been highly requested by Nintendo fans, and Zelda creator Shigeru Miyamoto told IGN at E3 that Majora’s Mask fans are “still in my memory."
Nintendo then went on to offer the Majora’s Mask soundtrack as one of this year’s Club Nintendo Elite Status rewards, though the company wouldn’t comment on what that means for the title’s future. Previously, Miyamoto said Nintendo was debating between Majora’s Mask and an A Link to the Past sequel. Since A Link Between Worlds is coming out in November, whether or not Majora’s Mask will follow is anyone’s guess.
Aonuma had much more to say about the future of the Zelda franchise, so be sure to read his thoughts on how revisiting The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker this fall will reshape the future of Zelda, plus three new things we learned about The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds.

The Water Temple isn't bad. I would actually say the Forest Temple has been more irritating in the long run.
Lies and slander. Unless you've just memorized the layout, it is super easy to just miss a key somewhere and need to change the water levels over and over. The concept they were going for was expressed more properly in that one boat dungeon in WW.

Wind Waker HD looks beautiful, as WW always has but updated. It also plays nicely on the WiiU (also I've now played a WiiU fweeee!). You can optionally tilt the controller to fine-tune aiming first-person items, which is a nice touch. Plus it flows really smoothly with no need to go into the menu to switch items.
And also Link Between Worlds seems fantastic. The 3D is unobtrusive and looks really pretty, and the new mechanic is really interesting.
In the near future, I think I can justify buying either a WiiU or a 3DS, plus the new Zelda and whatever else is necessary to play. But it's gonna be a tough decision based solely on Zelda, they both are so good.

I uh, didn't know when the bundle was being released. I had no idea it was that soon.

And it's probably the retouched soundtrack too
I hope we get that
Now that is a fucking nice commercial.
UGH NINTENDO WHY DO YOU MAKE ME WANT THINGS!
....fuck I don't even have a 3DS.
I liked tooting the horn, and the way the tempo of the overworld theme changed to match your speed

Are you asking if it has traditional controls? Because it does.
Or do you want to know if it can use the d-pad as an alternative to the analog nub?

isn't the 3D part kind of essential?
Doubtful that it's required in any way.

Sorry, yeah just traditional. I couldn't play through either PH or ST because of the touchpad controls.
It looked to me as if the melding or merging with the walls was done in a 3D view.
The demo didn't allow you to move with the Dpad. Circle Pad felt good, though.
I think he meant stereoscopic 3D, not 3D camera movement.

The Water Temple? I eat the Water Temple for breakfast.
Link slept for seven years and was a man when he woke up. I say to whiny gamers, "You weren't asleep for seven years. Time to grow the fuck up too."
...man, Ocarina Zelda just can't catch a break, can she?

But I've lost a lot of perspective on the OoT dungeons after beating it about five times
Sooooo hyped!
