I think most people have Spec Ops by now. I mean, it has been on sale for like 2 dollars.
Also Expeditions: Conquistador stuff -
Someone asked about it in the last thread - Expeditions: Conquistador is pretty great if you like turn based tactical combat, RPG mechanics, unique followers with personal stories, moral choices (that actually have an affect on your army and the way people react to you), character customization, stats, fairly good writing with lots of detail, and a historical background.
It's worth full price, which is only 20 bucks, but I got it on sale for I think 12.
holy crap Peewi have you really played 83 hours of Devil May Cry 4?
More. I had a retail copy originally and rebought it in a Steam sale. My main save file has about 130 hours on it. S-ranked all the missions on Devil Hunter and Son of Sparda and three quarters of Dante Must Die. Dante does not have charge shot 3.
nice! I've just started it and I'm terrible, I can't even do the 2nd secret mission so I have no chance of S-ranking it
That's the one where you have to do 5 mid air busters, right? Wait for a group of enemies, then jump up and switch between doing snatch (lock-on and and buster (B without lock-on). The reward for doing the secret missions is health upgrades and you can always come back to them later.
yeah that's the one, I just finished the mission so I'll go back and try again some time. I was launching the first guy with my sword so maybe that's where I was going wrong
FYI - Hidden gem of the Amazon Dale is Clive Barker's Jericho. It's $1.36 or something, and is supposed to be pretty interesting. Activates on Steam, but downside is that there are no trading cards.
Jericho is a pretty average shooter with some crazy difficulty spikes, I also seem to remember there is an advertisement for buying cheats in the game?? I never finished it but it's probably worth $1.36
Wait. Today's daily is a game called "Lords of Football"... but it's about soccer? What the heck? Is Steam supposed to be some sort of global service now? Who put these furriners in my Steam?
Please, no riots from the Euros. I'm just teasing.
I know how wound up you guys get about your cute ballgame.
Chipmunks are like nature's nipple clamps, I guess?

Yeah, I'm hoping the lack of entries for Spec Ops is because so many people have played it...because everyone needs to. It's like a crash course in how to tell a story properly in gaming.

Even if we're not fond of military shooters? I prefer to shoot at aliens.

While certainly not perfect, Spec Ops surprised me with how willing it was to actually attempt to be good.
I've gotten so used to games not even remotely trying to iterate anything but gameplay mechanics, it's always a shock when you can tell actual writing went into one.

Enter all of them! Multiple times! Enter early, enter often!
@MuddBudd I'm not fond of military shooters at all, but I didn't play it for that-in fact, it's actual gameplay is strictly average and even sometimes monotonous, but at the end it's still an amazing game. It deals with actual issues, with real situations instead of that fancy Bioshock Infinite phooey brouhaha.

Um.... Er... Go Manchester United?
Tell me about it, I mean they could have used today's daily on something important, like another Magicka or Terraria sale.

Although, it dealing with "real issues" isn't really what makes it good, it's the way the story is told and designed.
Games would be terrible if every one just reminded you of how terrible and ugly the world is, so thank Almighty God that there's "phooey brouhaha" instead of constant self-serious grey and brown hyper realism constantly.

I saw the image for it on the main page, and had to check it out. I was disappointed to find it didnt have magic soccer players summoning lighting to destroy their opponents.

Anyone care to speculate on TR dropping lower in the Dale-time?
I'm going to go out on a limb and say that it'll either be the same or lower, so I'm willing to wait until the Dale (theoretically 3 days from now) to confirm that and buy it then. I mean, that's what I'm doing, anyway.
I feel like someone just kicked me in the chest hearing about Ryan Davis. I don't think the SS2 stream will be going on tonight. I've been just listening to old bombcasts and QLs. FUCK.

Remember when the Sonic bundle (not just Racing) was 7.50 over the weekend and everyone was all, "That can't be right"?
I advise you to grab this while you can.
hmm, I should have limited it to the PA steam group at least.
Ah well. Next time.
If you don't feel like group limiting a giveaways you can also make them private. Then someone has to see your link (forum posted) to enter gating it a bit to the community.

I respectfully disagree, I do think how it tackles PTSD is what makes it good, but to each their own.
I love cute and fluffy games, games that take me into their own world. Hell, I own a Wii U just so I can be reminded of how great things can be instead of always being inundated with dark and gritty for the sake of being adult, but when games tackle the issue-i'd like them to do it well (like Spec Ops) and not bad (Infinite). Again, just my opinion.

Thats not the right Sonic Racing game you'll want, I can't say how good that one is, but the one you'll want is Sonic & Sega All-stars racing transformed. The transformed is important.

Holy shit that's a great deal-unfortunately I already have the games I really really want out of it. But yeah, just one of those games is worth the price...let alone all that sonic goodness.
@TheSonicRetard if he has a PC (not sure) and hasn't seen this, though I'm sure he has them all. Throwin' up that sonic signal.
I can't seem to recall how to post a pic that is posted from steam on the forums....I thought it was just add .jpg to the end but that doesn't seem to work in preview mode....
Thanks to @HiT Bit for the new Avatar. The other one is great too, but my ear is on backwards. You did get my hair right though. If it had a Riker's beard, it would be me.

Hey, runners don't step up to the starting line without warming up... Similarly, only an amateur would go into The Dale without warming up properly.
