I have to admit, I'm almost starting to get the feeling that I may want to read through Arena once the story is over.

Hopeless has stuck to his promise of it not just being a meatgrinder.

It's been sort of funny to watch how much people hated Avengers Arena, especially as more characters did die.

Until this issue at least the overall prevailing feelings towards it has suddenly swung completely the other way.

The characters have been really, really well written.

Except Juston, but I felt that apart from his limited series he never had any real defining traits.

Re Avengers Arena, calling it now

that the upcoming "boss fight" is going to be resurrected versions of the dead kids. Possibly even some sort of crazy amalgamation of them.

you know why? they took him from his family and friends. he's kinda defined by his brother and father and his family's strained relationship with his mom.
