I can't believe how long I thought I was already playing that. If nothing else it was a nice change of pace from "oh that thing I want is on sale... what the hell... how did I not know I already own it!?"

They finally discounted the DLCs for Sleeping Dogs so I grabbed Year of the Snake, Zodiac Tournament and Nightmare in North Point.
Those three seem to be the only ones really worth having, right? It's hard to tell with 26 DLCs in total. Square Enix sure likes to go crazy with DLCs.

So Battle vs. Chess is five bucks and has been on my wishlist for a while, but I see a lot of negative comments about it.
Question for the thread: are there any good chess games out there right now that I should be looking at? Doesn't even need to be on Steam and preferably has lots of tutorial options. Something like Chessmaster, before it was pulled from GOG.

I started typing it, went to look up the title, and before I knew what was happening I had sent it to you. Never did manage to get the name in there. Anybody else with Sleeping Dogs should pick up the Wheels of Fury DLC as well. It looks just dumb enough to be amazing.

Chessmaster 10 or Chessmaster Grand Master Edition are the best I've found. Not sure if either are available digitally.

Either Army or Navy is the recommended choice for beginners. I think Navy is slightly more challenging but you get to see more via hacking.
