    I know! I have been refreshing the webpage waay too often. Anyone receive notice? They made it sound like they would notify the participants before releasing the names

    Tycho just called me! And I can't do it! FUCK! I knew I'd pay for leaving early. I have to leave for my flight just as the final event will start! I SUCK SO MUCH!

    One of my RL best friends just got a similar call (yes, a CALL from Tycho). He's in a tough spot as well since we're actually flying in Saturday morning and it's a toss up if we'll make it to the con by 10am sharp. :(

    Phone calls eh? I was imagining they'd do e-mail. Either way, I'm posting from work, and couldn't give my work number, and don't have access to my home e-mail. Still hoping either way, I hope that they have the patience to let me call 'em back. ;) My flight schedule is perfect for attending the Omegathon (not for sightseeing however)

    A friend of mine over at PA Cult is in. They're most definitely sending out calls.

    I'm all paranoid now - got an "out of area" call show up on my call-display, but missed it.

    So what happens if they call and I'm not home? I don't remember if I entered my work phone number or not. Of course, I'd absolutely love to participate but I don't want to not be counted in simply because I was sitting at my cubicle and not at home waiting by the phone.

    I want to get int just to get the old-school crap. I could care less about new-generation garbage. The gaming industry hasn't made a must-have game since the first Halo, and I don't think the second one will have quite the impact (despite that every cell in my body is telling me otherwise).

    I got in, but not only would arriving on time for the Diceland event be extremely close (my plane arrives at 9:30), but there's no way I can be there for the last event (and possibly the next to last).

    I'm trying to get a hold of them to see if something can be worked out, but in the mean time I'm saddened beyond belief. :cry:

    While I was at work I got a call on my cell from my little brother. He said that Gabe called my home # and asked for me. My mom said I was at work, so he told her to congratulate me for qualifying for the Omegathon when I got home. :shock: Needless to say I've been as giddy as a school girl since I got the call. Strangely, no e-mail yet, how has it been with any other qualifier who got a call?

    Any ways, I'm going to go play DDR to try to work out my shock.
