That is definitely some humanlike Black Adam AI then.
Sev: Your gameplay is the most heavily yomi based around. Usually you look for characters that allow you to force guessing situations for big dmg. Even if the guess is mathematically nowhere near in your favor lol. You're happiest when you have either a 50/50, 33/33/33 or even a 75/25 situation to go crazy with. And you will take big risks to force those situations to come up.
The gross part is my Robin landing multi-hit combos and barely making a dent, while he does more to me in chip damage. It's even higher level than the other one. I'm afraid to try it myself now.
So far at least the only time I step in for my AI is when there is assists and such which can make a huge difference against the health sponge versions of characters.
It's the Multiverse Adam with one health bar but bullshit free armor and takes less damage. Even if I 'hit' first he gets free armor, tanks the hit, hits me and gets the free meter. I'm doing okay at keep away but even when I can land damage this fight seems unwinnable for me, AI or not.
Incoming patchhhh. Our Guild rank is in the 400's now, crazy stuff. Were still short three people as well, so if PAers want to get in they need to jump on it. :P

Bane him. Trait gives you free armor on all specials and a couple normals at lvl 3. Trait also makes you deal more damage and take less damage. Jumping d3 seems to beat almost every AI wakeup in my experience.

400? I wonder what the Xbone guild is at. We are almost full too but I think we have a lot of inactive randoms.

I just kind of hate the whole sword thing. It just seems lame from a character stand point.
Makes sense for the particular Robin, but not really representative of Robins in general. Wish we still had Nightwing. Partially because Nightwing is awesome and partially because with Redhood coming we could have three total Robins. Crisis on infinite Robins!
I'm trying to play him, and mostly for the staff stance. I like him a lot but yeah, if you whiff some moves you are gonna eat shit. I have to swap sometimes to counter tough bosses. Not ashamed to admit I've resorted to just Deadshot spamming tough AI.
I just mean his sword dance meter burn into B3 during some of his combos has crazy tight timing, so I drop that half the time and waste my meter. Otherwise the AI hasn't been giving me too many issues with him.
I think the sword dance MB into B3 only works on specific combos that lift the enemy a certain height.
For example, I know that F212, 212xxSword Dance MB, B3 will work. But F212xxSword dance is nearly impossible to get a B3 off of.
It's much tighter on some starters which is really irritating. F2D3 is a good mixup and can be comboed into sword dance meter burn and B3, but man is it hard to nail consistently. Though I mess up 212 into it more than I should.
I just realized that Atrocitus recites the last 2 lines of the Red Lantern oath during his super. And the "bull" is actually the Red Lantern entity, The Butcher. I'm starting to see more tech with him and may return to playing him.
My main gripe is that using trait to extend meterless bloodnado combos is super awkward and I suck at timing it. However I'm starting to see more alternate uses for his trait that seem to really boost his damage and address a few of his issues.

I think Deadshot isn't as much of a problem once you know how to deal with it, and anyone that is interested in Injustice at a tournament level has been dealing with zoning annoyance in every other nether realm game.
Deadshot is a very extreme character that dominates some match ups but comparatively has some match ups he blows in. He's a very powerful character, but if that's the only character you have then his viability drops considerably. A powerful generalist like Batman becomes much more valuable.
Yeah, Deadass is a pain for someone like me -sometimes- in the right hands. I can beat an amateur spamming that stuff, but a strong player mixing it up can do far worse to me... but probably even more so with a better character.
Right now online losing to a lot of Black Adams and Supergirls. Black Adam is -maybe- the one character I feel needs a nerf... slightly. He can do so much meterless damage and the keepaway is gross. Supergirl's Eye Laser does ridiculous damage and her teleport is annoying but not impossible to predict. It annoys me she gets such an instant teleport but whatever.
Bane is def annoying if you get stuck in a loop, but with rollaway he's definitely not as annoying as I remember in the first one. But again, this is all unranked. I know in ranked it's likely different.

If I'm playing with a friend generally yes, if I'm playing with a random I'll offer it by opening the dialog since I typically have a higher ranked character than them but 90% of the people I run into either don't understand how to do it or don't care.

Mostly gear on. It's actually a lot more fun this way, maybe 1 in 20 ask to turn it off. Though some gear is nasty. I went against a epic stacked Atrocitus that was... well, atrocious. But I have gotten kills on unaware players who cross my Robin Line in the Sand (ticks for 20% dmg).
Can anyone join the guilds? GF (mostly) and I are looking to join one. Is there a high participation rate expected or anything or are we ok to join and do what we can?

Personally, since the guild rewards everyone in the guild whenever anyone completes anything, I think that any regular participation would be ideal. Doesn't have to be hardcore or anything. Whenever you play, drop in, do one guild mission and that's that. If everyone participated once a day, I'd say that's probably like over a dozen free boxes daily assuming all 50 members contributed.

I noticed this as well, the AI upon near death gains sentience and gets scared, suddenly performing super fast combo chains or spam attacks.

Each character is auctioned off, the person who wins gets to play that character, and the money goes in the prize pool.
Batman just went for $150 bucks. I want to see how much Darkseid and Deadshot go for.
Ooh, and Black Canary just went for $100. I think poor Swampy went for, like, $8.
