I have my steam in three categories: Games I should play, achievements (if I care about it), games I"m done with, and the uncatagorized section where games I buy are at by default. I probably should do it some other way but *shrug*
And this sale I did good (hardly any gifts, I dodged a bullet!). We'll see when winter rolls around.

I have a USB headset that came with Rosetta Stone but I can't for the life of me figure out why it does what it does. It either pipes all sound from the game through the headset and makes it unusable, or it pipes no sound at all through the headset but will still pick up my voice. I want it to pipe stuff like a Skype call but not game audio and I can't figure out how.
I guess I am not picky. I just tried mine out last night. The mic picks up my voice but the chat sound comes through the PC speakers. I was just excited that I was able to chat while slaying orcs. I probably should have mentioned that in my first post.
oh jesus. so two forumers each won two of my giveaways and elected to give away their second game. I just got the reroll back and a third forumer won both of them.
So I'm sitting there right, just playing Sonic Racing Transformed (holy cow awesomesauce game BTW! All the right modes to tickle my fancy!) and then it minimizes and I'm like W! T! F! and @Luchaire has darn gifted me a game! Even without steam access she can gift games! You need a gold dust tophat mushroom umbrella thing! Thanks!

So how does one go about joining the PA group and/or the PA G&T group? I think it would be fun to have more than 4 friends on steam. Most of my friends are all in love with their consoles. :P

I finished Borderlands 2's main plotline last night, and the Tiny Tina DLC, and I've restarted the game with Gaige. Who is awesome. Based on my Borderlands 2 experience, I'm re-installing Borderlands, and will give that another go.
I decided that I would play Blood Dragon next, but it apparently wants to update and it's being really terrible about updating. So, I played some of Analog: A Hate Story. I'm enjoying that as an interactive novel, but at the moment I'm craving more action, so I tried Pinball FX on the free table. That's fantastic, and I may come back to play more of that, though Arch's scores are... intimidating. I also tried System Shock 2.
I've heard about people having nausea just walking around in games before, but this is the first time it's ever happened to me. Literally, five minutes into the game I felt like I was going to hurl. I don't think that I can play that game as-is. I've seen more recent games with FOV options, but I never had to mess with that option before, and System Shock 2 doesn't seem to have it. So, that came as a huge surprise to me, and I think that I'll be putting SS2 down for the moment.
Civics is not a consumer product that you can ignore because you don’t like the options presented.

I did that after 100 hours of adoring BL2 (and especially Gaige and Tina). I still didn't like BL1.
So I'm to assume that this pinball thing is the next PA group thing? The Payday 2 beta was cool until I realized how much time I could sink into it without touching anything else in my backlog. I think it's best I don't get another game like that.
I'm still waiting for that PA game of The Ship to start.
For some reason G&T folks have never really gotten into those kind of games, which is a shame because they're my favorite MP type. The Ship, The Hidden, any of the AssCreed games would all be great but they've never caught on.
Watching Hieric's twitch channel ... just 2 more weeks ... just 2 more weeks.
In the meantime I could crack out my backlog but somehow I keep getting suckered into distractions like Hotline Miami and Costume Quest. Poor Clementine. Maybe another possible convict will save you. And someone really needs to help Lara find those ghost mask things. She's been wandering in the woods forever!
I'll probably have a little more payday footage tonight if I can carve out an hour. This is pretty much why I wanted to stream though, CorriganX is far more entertaining to watch in my opinion, this is for showing people a game they don't have yet so they can see if they'd like it.

@Malakaius totally DID NOT just gift me Rise of the Triad. Which apparently DOES NOT come with the Apogee Throwback Pack. I am EXTREMELY UNGRATEFUL for his LACK of class. He's so NOT a bastard.

does missing link not plug into the base game at all? I downloaded it, and now I have this missing link client that doesn't have any of my savegames
Entirely separate, however they have announced the Director's Cut which will have it integrated into the main game, but we don't know if it will be DLC or have to rebuy the whole game or just a patch.

Trine 2 is one of my all-time favorite games, simply because of how beautiful every single screen in the game is. The music is also fantastic.
Trine isn't as good.
Don't get me wrong, it's not bad at all. It's just not quite as pretty, doesn't sound quite as nice, and while some aspects of the game play are a little better overall it's not quite up to the level of the second. I still recommend it, but it's a 'This is a good game, you should totally play it' recommendation rather than a "THIS GAME IS AWESOME, YOU NEED TO PLAY IT" recommendation.
