So Hazmat is going to get more control over her powers, huh? She's just hanging out there in a hoodie.
Man I want to know where Nico is ending up after Arena.

welp that clears up some of the characters that are definitely surviving Arena
(AA Spoilers)
this leaves Nico, Chase, Reptil, Apex, and Chris Powell's fates up in the air. The X-23 and young Cyclops kissing cover indicates that Laura's making it out alive as well.
I like what I've seen of Ewing's writing, but Gillen turned Loki into my favourite character, and Ewing's going to need to work very hard to get out from under that shadow.
I'm not sure how I feel about Loki leaving YA and getting an age bump to bring him more in line with Hiddleston's portrayal. As I said in the SE++ comics thread, this feels like them putting chasing the Hiddleston/movie fans ahead of the stories already being told. Gillen dropped some serious foreshadowing for Kid Loki's long-term plans in the last issue of Young Avengers, and they didn't seem like something that would be wrapped up in a matter of months. That said, thinking about it I have already anticipated some ways that Gillen could wrap this up in a cool way, and he's at least 3-4 times as clever as I am so I have faith. This change was always inevitable, and JIM ended the way it did to allow this to happen without ruining Kid Loki as a character.
In the end, I love Loki as a character in general, and I enjoy Hiddleston's portrayal in particular almost as as Kid Loki. I just wish that this new Loki book was out of continuity so that both could exist.
Marvel.com: Loki has undergone a surge in popularity thanks to his role in the Marvel movies; has that affected your take on the character at all?
Al Ewing: I did have Tom Hiddleston [Loki from the Marvel Cinematic Universe] partly in mind when writing him, but that’s been pretty much overtaken by Lee’s take on the Loki look. Also, in the first issue, he will fight Captain America, Thor, Iron Man, Hawkeye, Black Widow and the Hulk, because we are shameless, shameless, shameless.
But I’m also a huge fan of Kieron [Gillen’s] work on the character, so that’s kind of the definition of Loki for me, the personality he set down.
That said—I’m not Kieron, and I have my own way of doing things. So Loki will be a little different after his growth spurt. More my kind of Loki. You’ll have to see what that means.
Lee Garbett: Tom Hiddleston's performance is so nuanced and attractively flawed it'd be crazy to not try and add that to the mix and I've definitely got his performance in mind when drawing him but at the same time I don't want it to be too restricted by likenesses, etc.; it's more the vibe I'm after. That magnetism and dark charm. Those are the touchstones. That and keeping him sexy.
@blankzilla@CentipedeDamascus could you guys spoiler that? I know that it's now officially public knowledge but AA isn't over yet and I'd like to keep the exact outcomes unspoiled!

So Avengers World sounds like it is basically an Avengers Spotlight book, focusing on character first, while also using the team against other threats that aren't part of Hickman's specific mega-story(but are still approved by Hickman).

Who is the blonde dude in the middle of the X-Factor cover?
He is kind of a bad guy
Zemo's always a good guy, ever since 2000. Don't care what Brubaker did, it was a clone or something. This is all a clone.

The fan fiction between those two plus Logan will be ridiculous.
