So I guess he also adopts the Bendis philosophy of "sleep is for pussies" because otherwise I don't see how the guy has time to do much of anything except work.
Which colorist is completely butchering Jefte Palo's art, there?
Because seriously, gross.
Yeah, that is pretty horrifying to look at and usually I'm the "eh whatever" guy when it comes to art.
EDIT: It looks like someone turned someone's super stylized pencil drawing into a paint by numbers game for five year olds.
EDIT EDIT: If the writer finally got booted for Thunderbolts then I may have to give it another look. It had a pretty shaky start which should damn near be a warcrime considering the cast they've got together for it.
So there's a tradition amoung the trade collection community called "amazon fish" wherein large retailers like Amazon will get info on upcoming collections before they're officially solicited; anywho, they just put up a bunch for January.

Sadly the only thing out of that that really catches my eye is that Warlock by Jim Starlin collection; if for no other reason than that Marvel JUST put out a lot of that content in the "Avengers vs Thanos" collection. Makes me think back this article: http://www.bleedingcool.com/2013/05/13/jim-starlin-back-at-marvel-for-something/
I bet we'll start hearing about a new Warlock series written by Jim Starlin sometime soon.
I own all of UXF in digital already, but I love that series so much that I'm crazy tempted to get that omni anyway. But I have no room for it, and I'd probably never actually read it, and I don't think I can convince myself to part with that much money, but I still want it.
Last thing i heard is his ghost got put into a solid body again or something, then never was mentioned again. Unless im missing something inbetween. (Happen in guardians of the galaxy i think?)
Yeah, it was in the realm of kings one-shot where he briefly visited the cancerverse. Hopping dimensions gave him back his physical form, for some reason.
I'm skeptical of them relaunching them as two books.
I can see them consolidating the two themes under one book. Keep it titled FF, have the family as well as Scott, Jen and Darla teaching the kids.
Medusa drops out because she is going to be busy with Inhumanity.
Yeah, looking at the sales the last couple months, I think the relaunch will be a single, semi-monthly title.
But I'd love to see Robinson on the Fantastic Four. I had been thinking it would be Gillen or a newer writer for whatever reason, but it makes sense that they'd relaunch a big franchise with a sniped DC writer.
I wonder if the other is that rumored Namor series? Robinson said it was a joke, but it makes sense for Marvel to have him write some Invaders-era characters.
OK yeah I can see why he's been off his game in the regular world extra so now.
I was totally not expecting the climax. Or the epilogue.
Shiiiiiiit.

New Avengers #9
This is how Inhumanity gets kicked off, isn't it?
Also neat to see Young Avengers bringing up what Alonso said a while ago about them finally defining the rules of magic in the Marvel universe. Well, redefining, at any rate.
it ends with death ready to throw herself at Thanos, but Thanos deciding he's changed his mind over the whole "pursue Death under any cost" and that, whether or not Death is real, that he's alone.
The entire story runs counter to how Thanos and Death's relationship is portrayed in Starlin's original work. I'm seriously amazed by how much the author missed the mark on this.
Not Recommended; even if you love (or especially if you love) Thanos.
Also, and this is pretty stupid
They touted that this was a set-up for the current Infinity event; but I'm really not seeing how; nothing is really set up during this. Maybe it will be made clear as Infinity continues, but I'm confused as shit here at how this is a tie-in
I don't think saying Aaron missed the mark is accurate
this was the equivalent of Thanos: Birthright or Thanos: Year One, where a writer took the basic concepts of the character's origin but tell his own story.
It is definitely different than Starlin's original creation, but Aaron didn't do anything wrong by having a new take on Thanos

Madman!
But, hey. It also proves that it's good to be the boss.
Also I'm sure he's negotiated himself some very fair contracts.

Then he was pretty active during the events of the Thanos Imperative, and Annihilators.
Except for when he, you know, showed up in both Annihilators miniseries.

OHHHH ... Right. Double cripes.
