Bendis is the honeybadger of comics, he writes what he wants and gives no real fucks. Granted, you could say that about a lot of writers, but I think it gets noticed more with Bendis since he has written so many high-profile books at Marvel.
I read an interview with Bendis awhile ago where he gave his philosophy. He said that he views comics like a Toybox. When given a book, he feels like he should play with all the toys in the box however he wants. BUT, when its time for him to leave, he should put all of the toys back in the box so that the next writer can do the same.
That's really what he did with Avengers. Despite everything that happened during his run controlling those books, at the end of the day, he brought everyone he had killed back to life, had the good guys back in their traditional places, and gave Hickman a full Toybox.
I don't mind the Corsair revive. He's more interesting pissing off young Cyclops than he is dead.
I think all that mainly gets to me about all the revives
Is that we've basically had every character that was killed in Cosmic come back except Rich and Lilandra, and I get a bad feeling we're gonna see Lilandra back before Rich too
Byrne wrote Man of Steel, which basically condensed down and created a new origin for Superman for the modern age. Basically made a ton of pre-MoS stuff never happen by doing so. So now they are writing a Spidey mini that is doing some new stuff with his early days, making some old Byrne work (Chapter One, a miniseries that dealt with retelling some of the original Spidey adventures.) not fit anymore in continuity.

Dangit, if they bring back
Lilandra, my dream of a Darkhawk - Most Wanted Man in the Universe book involving Darkhawk on the run in the darkest underbelly of the galaxy, dodging the Imperial Guard, Death Birds, bounty hunters, and cosmic super-heroes while hunting down the evil extra-dimensional cyborg-aliens who framed him for Lilandra's death might disappear forever.
Can't believe they missed that boat and just had him go back to dumb Earth.

Yeah, some kind of short story for a special issue.
I've never read anything by Van Meter. What I'm more bummed about in that X-Men solicit preview is that Bendis is bringing back that future Brotherhood team so soon.

Van Meter's Hopeless Savages is superb.
And she did a bit in that Thunderbolts jail-break oversized issue, that you probably read. I think her's was the U.S. Agent one, drawn by Eric Canete. She did Hourman/Liberty Belle back-ups in JSA All-Stars, too.

I remember the USAgent/Ghost story, only vaguely remember the All-Stars one (it had the two ice people villains right? My brain has literally been erasing my knowledge of DC Comics for the past six months like comic alzheimer's).
Avengers, Mighty, and Deadpool are the only confirmed Original Sin tie-ins so far according to the May solicits. So hopefully that means a small number overall.
I'M NOT FINISHED WITH YOU!!!

New Warriors #1. Mixed feelings. It's a good example of everyone getting screentime and flows well with nice art, although Speedball reverting completely to his old ways is very offputting, but literally the first page is
The High Evolutionary killing off Bova.
It's like come on Yost, you don't need to do that stuff right now.

Anyway, I have free digital codes. First come, first serve.

Thanks.
I thought Infinity was pretty meh-minus (that is, worse than "meh") personally.

It's a like a women writers guest month or something!
not that I am a big fan of Gail Simone but that is interesting news

So she's good, ok.
Stokoe what are you up to
*It was Papa Smurf! How do you say no to Papa Smurf?"
Could be another fan comic
could be, but I'd be positively giddy about a Gillen/Stokoe Iron Man
it's unlikely, but a man can dream
Ok, yeah
Yeah I'm in.
