I was going to post this on the VN thread, but since everyone there has probably already played it...
Zero Escape: Virtue's Last Reward has been dropped to $25 on NA PSN. It's 50% visual novel, 50% room escape, with a branching plot filled with intrigue. It's also awesome, and the soundtrack is a beauty. Hop to it.

Goodness, that was an emotional roller coaster. Nanako gets killed!!! I mean, she gets better, but still! Then I decided not to just execute Namatame (and I probably misspelled his name but whatever, I don't really remember it haha), which maybe would have changed the game dramatically? 'cause after that I had to pick the real culprit, and I wasn't really paying attention to the hints that I had a limited number of choices so was picking people mostly randomly. Then I got the (a?) bad ending
So I guess I officially beat Persona, woooo!
But I went back to try again. And huh. Adachi is super evil I guess. I really just thought he was an idiot, so congratulations on putting a spin I didn't see, game. Although I am not convinced at all that he's the end-all be-all of bad guys. The team was already 100% sure that two other people were the big bads. And while they weren't really wrong, they weren't right either.
Plus, beyond that, no one has yet to explain why people were shown on the midnight channel to begin with, or why it exists at all, really. So I'm not sure if Adachi was the only "right" choice there? Either way, it's fun and interesting.
Now I'm just chasing him down, but going slowly, it tired me out haha.

goddamn PISSED about Nanako the first time I played through the game.
Same here, mainly because (P4G)
I had spared Nametame, Nanako came back to life, and it was still considered a bad ending. Given the dark turn in the story at that point, I honestly thought the game required me to kill at least two innocent people in order to continue. And then, when I did let them both die, it was still a bad ending. I came pretty close to chucking the Vita in frustration. I don't usually let games get under my skin like that.
Ha ha ha! Looks like we hilariously overpaid the midwives who delivered our baby. By ~$600. I'll be trying out this magic remote play soon, men and women. SOON.
Seriously, though. How do you overcharge someone $600 when you come to their house to deliver a baby?

The fact that the baby is alive means that you didn't. :P
Yay finally got two 16 gb cards for the vita. 32 gb were out of stock so eh, i got the next best thing. Came to same price to boot. ALL THE GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAMES
I'm guessing it's retailing at half price because they can afford to sell it at that. 16 people developed it, so the budget would've been tiny compared to what Sony's used to publishing.
And now I have £50 worth of psn points. Tearaway, muramasa and what else? Or should I get soul Sacrifice and one other game? OH MA GAWD TOO MANY GAEMS!

Soul Sacrifice went free on US PS+ so I would expect it to follow soon for PAL. I bought it at launch but now you may as well wait.

Extend is really good, but it's hard to go back to now when you've played Carnival Phantasm. I really hope it gets a Vita port later.

It's my first real ArcSystems fighter, and that's probably a large part of the reason I like it so much, but I really cannot praise the port job enough; this is a launch title, but unlike all the other launch titles, it loads in no time flat. Like I thought UMvC3 was a good port until seeing this. Now it feels pretty inferior :P

Yeah, I'd hold off on Soul Sacrifice on the hope that it'll be added to PS+ in Jan/Feb.
Get Tearaway, Muramasa and a £10 game. What that last game is, I'm not sure. You could wait for Stick it to the Man or Doki-Doki Universe to come out in December, they both look great.
Crazy idea but you could keep the £10 aside till you finish the other games and put it towards something else then, especially if you're picking up a PS4.
Blargh. I really like that Tearaway is getting great reviews, and I really want to support that, but the chances of me ever playing it, especially to completion, are roughly nil. And JRPG crunch time is starting soon... damn it.
Impulse purchase of Tearaway coming within the week.

It sounds like I am definitely getting a PCH-2000 Vita from my Japanese inlaws for Christmas. I am glad I've been subscribed / "buying" Vita games from PS+ since this past E3! Beyond these free games, I am tempted to pick up P4G. I played the original release on PS2, has enough been added / changed to justify getting P4G?

New ending, two new social links, new events (Halloween!), a new dungeon, January/February are playable, completely customized difficulty options in NG+, new music, more voice over, Chie's new VA is actually way better than the old one, more animated cutscenes, more Personas, a third possible upgrade to party member Personas, new areas including the beach and Okina City, you can explore Inaba at night, new character costumes, limited online features (the ability to see what other people did on this day, getting SP and HP from people who respond to your SOS), scene skipping function, new epilogues, highly revised shuffle time, gameplay rebalancing, your support character can now contribute to the battle at random, cavalry attacks (characters not in the active party can sometimes still help out), TV listings menu (including a trivia minigame which unlocks more and more over the course of the game), new arcana (Jester and Aeon), gardening, bug catching, and trophies.
I got VLR but got stuck on one of the puzzles and left it
Totally reinstalling it so I can kick its arse. Also, just got in and realised there are a mere 6 hours til work. I've not slept so the vita purchases will have to wait. Techincally though, I could get PS3 stuff? Like Beyond or..... whatever else that hasn't been on PS+ PAL.
edit: Too late. Tearaway and Muramasa Rebirth bought. Atleast I think so. Tearaway is on my list but the money hasnt been removed from my account, is that normal for pre-orders?

Havn't tried the Skype app over it, but don't see why it wouldn't work.
Would be nice if they had a non-shit bandwidth cap on it or let you unlock it to use on whatever mobile provider you normally use, though.

Even Polygon gave it a 9.5. That's the most surprising part of all.
If you're Australian and you don't buy this, I don't know what to say btw. It's only $40! That's a steal!
Everywhere else it's $40
Which is not really a steal, it's like full price!
It's basically the same price in all PAL territories actually. £20 in the UK, AU$40 in Aus, NZ$50 in NZ, etc.
I remain sceptical about it's length, though. Retailing at half price is mysterious.

I almost forgot, you can now directly decide which abilities you want to pass on in Persona fusion. Huge time saver.
P4G is like super-saturated P4.
