O Human Star is a comic about relationships and consequently contains some bits that you aren't supposed to look at at work.

Last time I checked they were.

My only problem with the ten commandments and following them is how final they are. Thou shalt not kill! Not... Thou shalt not kill unless...

And then the Bible goes on to tell you all the different ways God's chosen people were helped to kill others. I have a hard time pinning all that down in my head.

It's originally more like Thou Shalt Not Murder.

The term murder has a lot more wiggle room.

with regards to the wallet chain discussion, i'm not worried about getting pickpocketed. does that still happen on a scale that affects anyone?
it's just about losing it and leaving it places and slipping out of my pocket. if i'm really busy in some situation, and i put my wallet down on a table i'm sitting at, then i get up and leave, my wallet stubbornly follows me. it's embarrassing sometimes, but i didn't lose my identity, which is what i'm really worried about.

I don't know what Christianity you are familiar with, but idols get talked about literally all the time in most sects, and it definitely has to do with physical objects as well as metaphysical concepts.

I would say it is not a huge phenomenon in America anymore, but in other countries it's pretty rampant.

Most wallet theft is going to be someone swiping your credit card number as you use it.
